22/9/2020 13:16 | This is coming off with all the miners. 20% drop is normal. If I see 80p buy I will top up otherwise I am holding for the div and the next 2-3years. | 2603
22/9/2020 11:59 | Are you sure it's USG, the last notifications a couple of weeks ago were KST, I don't think USG has sold for months but could be wrong on that. Might just be pi's waning sentiment seeing it slither together with pog decline and constantly depressing news related to covid, all adds up. | paleje
22/9/2020 11:22 | Hammered here moreso than any other miner on my list the past week. Why is the major holder USG selling? | breaktwister
21/9/2020 13:42 | There is nothing I can see in the quarterly that suggested bad news was around the corner, and the timing of the LTIP looks a little odd, so the steep plunge in the share price is a bit concerning. Mind you, AIM is like a sieve, and orderly selling doesn't seem to be on the menu at the moment, so what do the insiders know, or is this just a charting issue ? | corrientes
19/9/2020 10:44 | UFG still had around 46% of the share capital in early June and will be continuing to sell that position down. It has been mentioned that this is being done in an orderly fashion rather than just dumping them on the market but when you are selling millions of shares even small chunks will be holding the price back, eg 110 to 91? Worth remembering that this company was floated at 150-156 way back when. | fozzie
19/9/2020 09:58 | zandook - don't know about Kamchatka, except that my son went out with a girl from that region and she was a right firecracker ! | corrientes
19/9/2020 09:25 | UFG, the major holder here, are always selling hence the restricted price. Looking at the share price you'd think they had stopped operations for a month or issued a profit warning. UFG just have so many shares here that their selling will always be a drag on the price. | fozzie
19/9/2020 08:37 | Agree. Anyway, I don't know about fires, are they in Kamchatka? | zangdook
19/9/2020 07:56 | Someone mentioning Siberian wildfires, but even if in the area I can't think this would affect the price so badly. Still seems more likely to me that a major holder is selling. I think it's happened here before. | corrientes
18/9/2020 21:27 | The recent fall here is a trifle worrying imo. I still hold but maybe there is something going on that we dont know about apart from the selling that has been taking place for a long time now . Not long until some news. I will re-evaluate from there. Didn't think we would see these prices again though. | jeanesy
18/9/2020 05:09 | I think its just a reflection of this quiet period, the selling. Don't forget Vein 25 is whats being processed now - hopefully reflected in the numbers soon. | hubs
17/9/2020 16:07 | Perhaps it means they don't know which direction to take and want to slow trading until the interims come out - it was Sept 19 last year. | zangdook
17/9/2020 15:41 | Spread is ridiculous today. MM have moved the Ask to 95 from 92 this morning will bid stays at 90. They must not be willing to sell any at 92. | breaktwister
17/9/2020 13:23 | I've picked up a few more this morning. Happy to accumulate on weakness | bmcb5
17/9/2020 12:50 | Investors are never happy when a share drops for no reason. Mining stock are not for the faint hearted. A lot of speculators would have jumped in when highland gold was bought out. They get bored and jump ship. I am in for the long term ie 2-3years which is when tsg will be in a much better situation. No debt, free cash flow, big dividend. Gold and silver stocks are a buy on dips and hold for the next year. | 2603
17/9/2020 11:46 | Yet more selling by the largest shareholder UFG no doubt. Very very disappointing to see the share price languishing here in the current environment. Good Q3 numbers will inevitably give them yet another opportunity to sell into strength. I will do likewise as my capital is much better served elsewhere and I feel their continued selling will always hold the share price back. | fozzie
17/9/2020 11:32 | Seemed to be a seller some weeks back not sure if they're still there, I think it's more likely wobbles because gold is taking a breather. A few small goldies have been affected by sentiment recently, usually an update sorts it. | paleje
17/9/2020 11:02 | Absolute steal at this price... | inthemix
17/9/2020 09:17 | Going through the quarterlies, that was my impression. Also, realised POG should continue to improve, so price decline difficult to understand. Maybe some large holder gradually reducing, so dampening the share price ? | corrientes
17/9/2020 09:11 | They were happy with Q2 and FY production guidance remained unchanged. Pog however has changed, for the better, so unless there's something unpleasant which they haven't told us about, the interims should reassure. | paleje
17/9/2020 08:46 | The chart is starting to look very ugly and if the gold price falls back a sharp pull back looks likely.Hopefully the record gold price will filter down to a good q3 | ukgeorge
16/9/2020 14:50 | not playing ball | c0lin1
15/9/2020 08:47 | We certainly need livening up, a year on from that spike up to the 120 area when gold was 1400-1500 and here we are still under 100 with gold at 1960, patience is wearing thin here, from me at any rate. | fozzie
14/9/2020 19:13 | I certainly hope so | doc_oj |
