24/7/2020 21:38 | I’m sure its Arden that are managing the process. They are favouring the Offer whenever the stock is rising but, often then check back on the Bid when it drops for too long so, they are dribbling onto the demand & that is realty the only sensible way for UFG to get out without causing a big downward pressure on the price. Nice to see such a sensible investor & being well orchestrated by the Broker. Another couple of months or so and I expect the brakes to finally come off | mattjos
24/7/2020 21:38 | They are much better off selling into a rise for the next 3 months or so, rather than say selling into a decline in 12 months time as gold might top out next year. Of course much depends on production rates and dividends as well. If I had 15m shares I would probably start to sell down as well. | creme de menthe
24/7/2020 21:22 | 5th Jun declared holdings shows UFG have trimmed 9.1m shares & now down to 40.5M Shareholding (still at 46.43%).The 9.1m was picked up by the Hedge Fund, RAB Capital (4.1m) & Private Equity, KST Beteiligungs AG (4.7m).The company has already bought back over 20m from UFG at 33p, last year so, UFG do not dominate the share register as they used to.We know they have an ongoing intention to reduce their dominance on the share register but, down to what level, we do not know.I am assuming they will drop to somewhere below 30% but, above 25% so,there may well be another 15m to go yet but, that's just a guess. They are being very reasonable about it though & it is not stoping gradual upward momentum. | mattjos
24/7/2020 20:50 | We will get there in the end. Another piece on CNBC this afternoon from an analyst from standard chartered saying this precious metal rally has much further to run. I still think there are many stock investors underweight in gold shares and don't forget TSG is a play on silver too. | 32campomar
24/7/2020 18:37 | I see another 200k gone reported late this afternoon. Could be more in smaller chunks. | jeanesy
24/7/2020 15:56 | Someone said they had about 2.5 million left which ties in with the Investment company. Sorry i don't know more than that. Hopefully fozzie will find out and share with us his findings. | jeanesy
24/7/2020 14:36 | Gold above $1900 August delivery | 32campomar
24/7/2020 14:33 | Moving north at last, test of 100p looks possible | 32campomar
24/7/2020 13:29 | It's understandable if they're selling out of the Private Equity Fund, because as a listed company TSG doesn't really belong there. | zangdook
24/7/2020 09:53 | How many did they have jeansy? | c0lin1
24/7/2020 08:47 | If what we were told the other day is correct they can't have that many left. If they keep selling at yesterday's rate they will be done in days. In the mean time keep adding ! | jeanesy
24/7/2020 08:41 | The selling pressure is seemingly still there, regardless of the figures, and you could jump to all sorts of reasons for that, but let's hope it's all above board. | corrientes
24/7/2020 08:16 | Yes jeanesy - all we have to worry about today is our money, not our life. | corrientes
24/7/2020 08:15 | bloody hell back to 90p again | c0lin1
24/7/2020 08:14 | Slowly moving back up to a pound. When that seller clears and it could be fairly soon i expect this to go whoosh ! | jeanesy
24/7/2020 08:11 | Nice to wake up with a set of results like that. | avsome1968
24/7/2020 07:53 | Much better Q2 production puts this back on track , down to much higher grades than Q1. Not good to hear about the fatality though. | jeanesy
24/7/2020 07:43 | To put this in a bit of context SP Same day 2019 77P share price Closing last night 92p gold produced ozs 9544 11419 Ave gold price $ 1313 1738 total revenue $ 13761 20588 A bit of a disparity here and the market is aware of this. If we hit 11000/12000 ozs next two quarters and gold stays at above level or better, this plus mine extension, should give us a really solid foundation for 150p IMO. | corrientes
24/7/2020 07:37 | What an amazing RNS. The seller must be mad! | 32campomar
24/7/2020 07:23 | it looks to me that a fund is "let in" at the prearanged price level. why on earth having this superb results on Friday morning? | kaos3
24/7/2020 07:20 | In Q2 they turned over $20.5m with gold at $1,738/oz and silver at $19.7/oz. Q3 figures should take this back to the 130p highs. | brasso3 |
