Ounces sold haven't really changed all that much over the last two years or so, but what has changed considerably is the realised gold price. It has been a bit of an erratic ride, so the market is understandably cautious. Hopefully the new find will accelerate both ounces sold, selling price and most importantly,LOM.The way this company operates, suggests a special dividend is very possible. IMO.

have recently taken a position here. been following the board.

the rns states:
"Outlook

As the year progresses, the Group anticipates that ore mined from Vein 25 will continue to increase as the emphasis of the mine plan for Asacha transitions from the Main Zone to the East Zone. The Group expect that mine development will continue to produce saleable gold. The Company's production and dividend guidance remains unchanged."

question from the uninitiated:

as i read the first part of the rns i thought wow! so was surprised to read that guidance on production remains the same?

is it because they are transitioning zones (winding down in the main zone and ramping up in the east zone, where v25 sits), so overall not much change to output?

Very good development update, TSG just keep on delivering shows how good the news is up 6% on ex divi day, next few quarters will see this steadily rise expecting new highs next 7-8 months specially if gold hits $2000 which is certainly possible.

One sample showed average gold grade of over 1200g/t - rather tasty

I think you could be right Talkman. Over 6000 ounces since April is certainly going to boost production . Results are going to out next week so not long to wait ! :)

Very interesting that over 6,000 ounces were produced from Vein 25 since April. Could we be in for a nice upside surprise on production? I don’t think the market has twigged on how important Vein 25 is for the company going forward . In the RNS it was mentioned as a ‘ milestone for the company’.

Confidence was damaged with the resource downgrade. They need to re-establish confidence again.

Yes it's never made any sense to me that this is so far below the all time high of 131p set in autumn, when gold prices were way below current Levels. Share price has to get back up there soon, this is one of the few gold shares yet to wake up to the gold bull market.

I think we are doing ok considering we just went ex-divi and did not really have a pull back for that.

I totally agree Brasso . This was over £1.30 last year when the POG was around $1,400.

This has got to go over £1 soon , with steady production at a fantastic POG and exciting exploration / development upside . The market cap is far too low .
