Good news is that it will put more focus on Smart Breakdown

Looks like you may get your chance to buy some AA around 46p.

I was thinking the same about the lease.

Shouldn't count the leaseback as that was in Feb. Stability since 31st March.

Hard to know whether it was simply a cash burn or a cash flow issue. My take on it is that there is not a significant difference over the last 6 months which means they are just about keeping their heads over water during the worse half of the year.

I just can't imagine JW not wanting to be in the spotlight expressing his incredible views of the future. 1 million devices etc. But you are right, if I understood it correctly then they have stemmed run away cash flow.

Well, they've obviously done (are doing) a good job of reducing cash burn, so perhaps the results will look better than we might expect. I realise that's optimistic re this BOD, but here we are. Perhaps, there is a positive to take away from that RNS.

Perhaps they didn't produce a video. You'll notice how austere the final year report was.

Yep, very disappointing. They should have used the profit warning as a way of coming out and being honest.

I emailed Trakm8 a couple of days ago about when they are going to post the 2019 AGM video. No response thus far and no video. Not very reassuring given I think JW should have explained the events leading up to the share crash last year.

Well, there goes "William (Bill) Duffy" NED.
Wonder if he'll keep his shares, or whether there is a more to come in relation to this resignation.

Microlise have had long enough to do something beyond their original investment.

JW could be anyone of us....

He is awesome by the way, and very good looking!

I think somebody does - it could be coincidence but I posted a link to a presentation in their download section one year. Shortly after I could no longer get to that section (and this was stopped before their new site - which is incredibly slow to load and thus unprofessional [take note Trakm8]). As for the big cheese I would imagine he it too vain to look here for fear of criticism.

Does anyone have an opinion of special resolution 9 in the AGM notes?

"That the Company be and is hereby unconditionally and generally authorised for the purposes of Section 701 of the Act to make market purchases"

Is this something they add to AGM stuff all of the time OR are they suggesting they are going to be buying shares from the market (up to 10%)? This would certainly get the price going in the right direction but where do they get the cash from to do it.

Surely Microlise would be the more obvious candidate at this point.

Bit strange all this. No video, no capital markets day, AGM nowhere near London at an unfriendly travel time. It’s like he didn’t want anyone to go! I am sure there is a bit of truth in that.

Roll on Q4 and AA news in December! Wish the AA would just recover and buy Trak!

Will there be an AGM video this year? I assume this would be the first time JW would have to explain the past 12 months to the share holders. Ok, what he says may not be the same as the reality I am in but would like to see what he has to say nonetheless.

I assume by the further decline in the share price (just when you think there were no more sellers left) that the AGM (and R&D tax credit point) did not instil confidence.

RH600 delays more likely - with it being promoted in the 2017 AGM video, again in 2018 and hardly any news, I suspect this is not quite as ready as they wanted - or perhaps doesn't stand up well to the competition. ADAS/DMS type systems are really hard to get right and the leading solutions still use offline validation (people) to check video of drivers before sending to the fleet operators! So, RH needs to be super accurate if it's to prevent filling-up the inbox with false positives. Mobileye, Samsara, seeing Machines... all serious players... Trak won't be a big fish in this pond.

They need to find some niche or win on quality as the standard fleet tracking/reporting market is saturated and churn too high. While their connections provide a decent recurring revenue, we don't know how hard their field sales, marketing and support teams have to work to keep things stable - almost certainly rising each year. Last report stated 243k devices, so a decline of 3k since then suggest a lot of frantic paddling under the surface.

Will insurance help? No, I think black-box policies are not in fashion; people know they can shop around and find a policy without one.

What about breakdown and/or car diagnostics? This is a gamble IMO but one of few areas left to target and doesn't involve a lot of hardware dev since it should all be in their comfort zone with so many millions of driving miles collected by their Big Data dept and the dongles already capable.

What about optimisation? Great if you can sign up the large logistics fleets but that wont happen with RM.

The plan? right size the business. Too much overhead to support what should be a slick, online market place for tracking and cameras. Website too confusing, spread across many 'solutions' and 'products' and insufficient info or poorly presented product benefits. Just one idea.
