30/11/2017 10:00 | This retrace is far more than I would have envisaged. Broadly the results were very good - even those who questioned the accounting, suggested overall they were 'OK'. The point is, the growth story remains intact. Hindsight is a wonderful thing (wishing I'd sold a few when we hit 160p last week) - but there you go. Not selling - but I'll be topping up if it goes much lower. | knowbodyyouno
30/11/2017 09:43 | I know, madness! | 40toolong
30/11/2017 09:42 | Good job company didn't put out a profit warning otherwise we might have lost 40% - lol | davr0s
29/11/2017 13:57 | Just to reinforce the statement made Blondeamon when I was doing my own research some 9 months ago prior to embarking on a series of buys the observations and commitment to Trak and the business development opportunities were ably and positively represented by both Blond and 40toolong. We all have different strategies but my considered wish is for the shareholder register to be predominantly investors not traders.Probably an ambitious hope but still possible. | bhxian
29/11/2017 12:43 | Just feel that sometimes the stock is “bullied” Thanks blonde MK | 40toolong
29/11/2017 12:28 | I can attest to 40toolong been around for a while and being very helpful. If someone cannot cope with such drops then by all means sell and pocket the profit or loss. Life is too short to stress about it. In my view, the recent results were proof of a turnaround with all metrics turning positicve again and new contracts all over, with more to come with this technology they have now. Future for TRAK had not been this positive ever before. But it will take years not months to get there. Unless you're okay to do that then maybe you should look for more stable shares. This WILL jump up and down for 20% or more within single days, it's just that kind of stock. I am still convinced they will exceed this year and the February update will be quite revealing but that's just me, always do your own research. Personally, this is a good entry point not a time to sell. | blondeamon
29/11/2017 12:24 | There is support and buying here. I don't think the results had any fireworks after the TU to immediately drive this to new highs but I do think its enough to continue the uptrend. End of the day it is still very cheap. | jamiemp
29/11/2017 12:05 | Go look at my previous posts She-Ra and then come and talk to me. I do not want to see, I have bought a lot, the results were great in my eyes, just frustrated we are not now at 175p, that is all!! | 40toolong
29/11/2017 12:03 | Go look at my previous posts She-Ra and then come and talk to me. I do not want to see, I have bought a lot, the results were great in my eyes, just frustrated we are not now at 175p, that is all!! | 40toolong
29/11/2017 11:59 | No she-da, quite the opporsite, been on this board for many years as Blonde will testify too. Just seen the highs and the lows. I am a long termer, but have been in for a long term!! I believe in the company and understand the Sector well. Flattered though, been accused so many times of being a ramper, never a de-damper. That is one for the books! | 40toolong
29/11/2017 11:58 | 40toolongI think that you are looking through the wrong end of the telescope. If business fundamentals are improving & a share price is falling then it's time to buy, not sell.Never get emotional about stocks, it can cloud your judgement. | pj0077
29/11/2017 11:54 | 40toolong - You were caught out. No use trying to back track now from one of the worst deramps ever. You're not a shareholder. Were not mental. | she-ra
29/11/2017 11:49 | Number of shares = vulgar. Apologies, that was not needed. I am just a little frustrated but I understand, I am getting emotional about this and should not. Will wait and see. | 40toolong
29/11/2017 11:34 | good job size isn't everything - just got some more (498) at what I hope is a bargain price (although last time I purchased, the shares subsequently took a hammering so be warned) | dc2
29/11/2017 11:24 | Meh, it is still in an uptrend. If you were waiting for results to buy, you wouldn't do it until today. Plus there's a lot of out of hours trading. I'm not one to cry "tree shake" but I think this will bounce and resume the trend. It rose by 100p over the same year end period when it hit its peak. | jamiemp
29/11/2017 11:23 | "I am a very large holder 100,000 shares and now considering a total sell." That how con artists talk. You're definitely not a holder. You want to get in cheaper. | she-ra
29/11/2017 11:13 | She-ra. The current mess is that off the back of results that said the business is recovering, the share price has lost over 23% of its value since Monday. How can you not call that a "mess"? I am a very large holder 100,000 shares and now considering a total sell. The market just does not like this share. it feels jinxed to me. I am guessing it will be April until we see the 140-150p range would you not agree? Although my overall buy price is 97p I am just watching profit go down the drain and not sure I can be bothered to wait. What are your view, how do you see the next few weeks going? | 40toolong
29/11/2017 11:04 | But what's the current mess? | she-ra
29/11/2017 11:03 | Bit of a pain short term but only retesting recent resistance atm | davr0s
29/11/2017 10:55 | 40toolong- What "mess"? | she-ra
29/11/2017 10:38 | Gosh, really did not expect this much of a retrace. Hold on long termers, it could get bumpy. Hope we don’t see double digits. The BOD must be so upset, crawling out of the mess and being dragged back in! | 40toolong
28/11/2017 19:11 | Thanks blondeamon. I look forward to reading H2 contract wins.... | dc2
28/11/2017 18:47 | dc2 just a small part, it's 4 pages long and very bullish but it's only fair to them to post a bit. "Trakm8 27 November 2017 A longer road but to a greater goal Back on track The interim results show the business continuing to deliver strong growth, but also rebuilding margins, cash flow and the balance sheet strength after a difficult FY 2017. As expected, the growth came in the Solutions business, driven by a particularly strong half for Insurance (net 27k new units deployed v 18k LY), while Fleet still delivered reasonable performance (a net 4k new units v 5.5k organic LY). Trakm8 now has 217k connections between Fleet and Insurance, generating £10.6m of recurring revenue in the past 12 months. We expect several large contracts for Fleet in H2, along with continued growth in Insurance, which will deliver FY expectations." | blondeamon
28/11/2017 13:09 | TRAK in a nutshell excluding other peripheral numbers and concentrating on amortisation and capitalised charges which are the key figures imv operating profit £806K amortisation £729K adjusted £1535K (806+729) capitalised development charge £1756K operating loss -ve£221K As always they've been a little disingenuous with their accounting practices woody | woodcutter |
