Anyone know what the situation is regarding planning application for Staplehurst site? Has it been submitted?/decision awaited? This would be a game-changer for TRAF if planning is granted. I believe 53 high profit homes as cost of the site was "extremely advantageous".

Yes and things are going great. What they need to do is to buy more land and build more for future years. A bit thin at the moment.

Cammy3,

I don't think we will get an update till they have sold more than 80% of the Property. You can see the progress on their website.

The tories are hell bent on prices going up by 2015 to make us all feel good (or at least make tory voters feel good!)

I am not normally a conspiracy theorist, but the move of the bid down to 4p has all the hallmarks of a "tree shake" to me.

Don't be put off by reported "sells". Current bid/offer spread 4.25p-5.00p but just bought again at 4.45p.

I hold from 3p so 8p would be great.

I would expect these to challenge the recent 8p highs in the not too distant.

Agree that the headline spread is designed to deter buyers (because the "free float" is so small) but, can actually be bought well within the spread... indeed as the earlier posts show, over the last couple of weeks has often been able to be bought at below mid.

Agreed, and a good tick up (11%). House building sector doing well.
Main issue at the moment is the daft spread 4.25/5.25.

Good to see buyers as this share looks well undervalued

There is however, one flying elephant waiting to drop stuff on us....

The CEO holds 81.7% of the shares in this company.

Despite reading all of the information I can, I can't find any mention of a "lock-in" commitment.

My guess however is:-

a). No sale of these shares is likely until the anticipated profits for 13/14 have been realised in the share price (which, on a p/e of 20 equates to around 12p per share) - Why would anyone sell at a time when reasonable "value" is unlikely to be achieved.

and,

b). Because of the size of his holding and the very small free float, any sale is likely to be achieved by private placing of his shares, rather than by sale through the market. - This wouldn't impact directly on the share price at the time.

As always, good luck and DYOR.
