22/6/2022 10:32 | Something doesn't add up about the recently discovered Maritime legacy fixed-price contracts; specifically the need to adjust previous years accounts. Why the hell is Stroud still CFO since he was on the BoD when all these contracts were negotiated & signed off. He is a disgrace, but Ratcliffe still feels he needs him on board. I also maintain that for as long as Lindsay remains on board (albeit as a NED) he won't be happy with his 2.6mill purchase of shares in July 2021. At today's price, he's sitting on a >£45k loss in value. Is his continuing presence an attempt to offset this loss? The idea of a full takeover is appealing but having retained only a small handful of shares it's not exactly going to have me running to the fridge to open the finest Champagne!! | thompsonminor
22/6/2022 10:07 | Oh dear. Maybe a little bit more complaining on this BB will help the share price recover huh. Alternatively take the blinkers off and understand that its a firesale. | terminator101
22/6/2022 09:46 | JFTM. David Lindsay also cleaned up the accounts last year and put the skeletons on the table. Strange they extended his stay if things weren't as they seemed | flotogo
21/6/2022 20:45 | PA has suckered you muppets into this POS over many years The Marine business is now a concrete slab pulling this down deeper and deeper into the briny Money losing contracts from olde agreements made at daft prices to get work -- the RN has moved on since and imo there is no way back --- new modern subs coming --- olde subs to go This could now slide from the slipway into the dock of administration as buywell has posted many months back ALL the pain now being caused by the Marine Division being badly holed buywell has made this point for years and years as well as very recently --- wy yu no wissen ? SAG could by the rest for peanuts from the administrators --- thus averaging down in spectacular fashion The next audited accounts could be made into a financial Horror Film --- money to be made ? buywell3 10 May '22 - 10:20 - 10136 of 10202 Edit 0 1 2 Don't be silly Things in these new nuclear subs are way different to what TPG Maritime did years ago Which is why nobody wanted to acquire them olde tat Rolling Ronnie 10 May '22 - 11:13 - 10137 of 10202 0 2 0 "Don't be silly Things in these new nuclear subs are way different to what TPG Maritime did years ago Which is why nobody wanted to acquire them olde tat" You do come up with some un-informed cr*p :-) | buywell3
21/6/2022 19:33 | They were blocked access to look under the hood by TPG management. The rest is obvious. After having been invested in this since the Musgrave days, I blame myself for not taking 6p+ when it was available. I Feel for those still in here.Good luck. | secretsqu
21/6/2022 18:57 | If this company is such a dog then (i) why did Science Group bid in the first place? & (ii) why offer 6p/share <12 months ago? | justiceforthemany
21/6/2022 14:29 | Interesting shout, jftm. Science Group's hands are tied for 12 months from their last purchase. With TPG mkt cap at just over £15M - could they appeal as a target to an alternative party? | fat00mch

20/6/2022 16:07 | Maritime's biggest UK customer is the MoD ....part of the £22 million framework contract previously entered into between TP Group and the MoD to manage equipment availability and provide spares for air purification systems, as announced by the Company on 3 April 2017. | fat00mch
20/6/2022 15:39 | "onerous legacy fixed price contracts in TPG Maritime".Oh dear, another massive loss headed this way soon then. No wonder it dropped like a stope this afternoon. #horrorshow | terminator101
20/6/2022 14:15 | Onerous contract. A contract in which the unavoidable costs of meeting the obligations under the contract exceed the economic benefits expected to be received under it. So whoever the UK contract is with wants TPG to deliver at the cost originally negotiated. Approximately £4.5m for ALL Maritime onerous contracts was Feb estimate (that's UK and International). | fat00mch
18/6/2022 09:43 | Next week would be a great time. A couple of rail strikes and a contentious by election should help these slide out unnoticed | flotogo
