I asked that very question. They offered to transfer the shares to trading/ISA accounts and I queried why they couldn't have done it after 06 April when the new ISA allocations kick in

Given the 100% margin for continuing holders I am assuming that most who still hold via IG will buy the same amount on the open market after selling on IG - no cost difference. There may be some who will invest elsewhere who want to continue to spread-bet and may also be a timing delay in re-investing but a good chunk will buy back. We'll also likely see more buying in the run-up to results and following results given that we are now undervalued against existing discoveries. Just need to be patient.

I asked but my contact at IG but he said "I don't have the info on how many clients we still have in TXP but I know we have mainly seen selling flow recently" which is garbage because they could easily find it out. Just probably can't or won't release that info.

Che I would be very disappointed in 170-200 tbh I mean we have been high 170’s already in the last few months. The share price reaction is starting to become more than irksome and now a tad worrying. I have a lot riding on this and a fall of circa 40p was not in the plan.

I think 200-300k of IG shares not yet absorbed by buyers despite the drop today in share price It's a 1-off. I made it approx 40-50k net buys today - not as much as you'd expect for the drop in share price although the rise late last week was MM driven and not real - ie not based on buying volume. We have just lost a bit of the story this year due to lack of positive news flow particularly as we had expected it from Paul. Expectations are now 2 months delayed. The value hasn't gone away - it's still there and will return this month or next.

Davidb, Yep, I'm venting here as it's mightily frustrating.We are in the right sector, right time.I'm bullish, all paid for, and the positive is that we can add here.The chart is just about salvageable here is we flatten/rise this week, but now needs some news or a good presentation Wednesday imho.I expect 170-200p is a fair target

Self inflicted wound PR wise in a bad market that’s all. The market has a short memory once the fasts are out.

Chewin I bought at 129p on the 4th of Jan so it’s still up nicely.

More than a tad disappointing though.

The 25% discount is for the condensates, not the oil. API 35 oil should demand a premium and produce some gas flow too I believe

That's this years gains nearly wiped out.30p rise from here to get to the top.Without a rise from here, we're also going to exit the uptrend, that's disappointing against a backdrop of strongly rising energy stocks.The broker note today has two negatives for me:1. Higher SPT charges next year2. 25% lower Brent prices for Ortoire oil.Did I read that right?Everything else is positive, I'm mildly disappointed at current prices, but the story hasn't changed for me, so I'll continue to add from here over the next few months if we remain off highs.
