08/2/2021 13:36 | Dunder I only had a quick at the BB after the comments here and have nothing against taking a contrary position after all we all want to make a buck. But the glotting and revelling at others misfortune does that side of trading no favours. | captainfatcat
08/2/2021 12:10 | Re BPC one look at the BB and it's clear to see why shorters have such a bad rep. Dunder agree on TXP having more than enough on their plate for the time being. | captainfatcat
08/2/2021 12:02 | Trin isn't the issue for Bpc it's the Bahamas that's scuppered them. If Cerp had stuck with Trin/Suriname they'd be where they are now without huge dilution. Not Leo Koot's finest hour. | mark of the rushes
08/2/2021 11:44 | Could have gone both ways DB. A discovery and they would probably give up equity as bigger things to work on and a failure and they dont have the cash so will "have" to give up equity as they ain't got the cash. I'm probably out of turn here and can definitely see the logic in procuring more acreage but surely we've got enough to be doing "here" rather than additional acreage? I suppose if Royston dry I will be ruing these words! | dunderheed
08/2/2021 11:38 | Yep high risk wells when you really need a good result don’t often work out. Should TXP be in the mood, but give it three weeks for the pain to ease, I reckon BPC would be up for a JV on their onshore assets given they are going to be very light on cash. Certainly the T&T government will not be happy with potentially productive assets in their hands given they are going to struggle to raise funds now. An opportunity? Possibly. | davidblack
08/2/2021 10:55 | Wtgr no real surprise with that result. | dunderheed
08/2/2021 10:49 | Not everything in Trinidad works out as BPC holders found out with a "Mike Tyson roundhouse punch in the gut" of an RNS this morning. Thankfully we chose thew right play here | onedayrodders
08/2/2021 10:20 | 33k shares buy at 163p (£54,000 investment) | mynameiskhan
08/2/2021 08:58 | The biggest kicker to the profitability of the oil wells will be when Trinidad wakes up to the fact they would likely earn more money if they abolished the disincentivising SPT. Also, I get that you tax companies, but taxes/levies (potato/PotAto) imposed on revenue are fundamentally wrong, and adding a tax/levy on oil production which you need is perverse. Jeremy Corbyn has been a bit quiet recently, has he got a new jurisdiction in which to practice his anti-business philosophy? Buffy | buffythebuffoon
08/2/2021 07:58 | Based on Cascadura ST, I can see independent reserve report from Casca Deep & chinook sometime in April. | mynameiskhan
08/2/2021 07:41 | We can add one or two reserve updates too. | 1domus

07/2/2021 18:14 | Buffy 16284, respectfully, let's just leave it there? I answered why I thought your post was incorrect (and to be quite frank rude) and there seemed to be external recognition of that post and also ease of understanding my point(s) therefore, no need to discuss further and obfuscate an excellent TXP board? I have no doubt you are an extremely experienced and an excellent investor but that does not give you the right to be rude unnecessarily. Apologies for OT everyone. | dunderheed
07/2/2021 12:32 | For those intrigued by Kraken as a Cretaceous target this might make you curious: | davidblack

06/2/2021 22:49 | Thought this would be useful for data nerds : https://docs.google. | croasdalelfc
06/2/2021 20:17 | Not actually the case, the TSX has a way of sending you bills relentlessly, and I mean relentlessly with quarterly filings. Every filing beyond plain vanilla seems to cost thousands in fees. Then add in the lawyers to check and the Profesional reports that you don’t need but without which you are likely to be sued. So I would humbly suggest they do it differently but both lots make muggers look throughly honourable by comparison. | davidblack
06/2/2021 19:15 | On negative of AIM... Listing expense and annual fees are higher in London | gopbg
06/2/2021 18:29 | Two other things screw Canada as a choice. Flow thru shares that give an immediate 55% tax write off on exclusively Canadian exploration stocks that brokers and promoters love as its “A risk free play” but its absolutely not. It simply misallocates capital and undermines other companies. Secondly 8% commission to brokers encouraging them to churn the clients away from winners in particular and that flow thru too! So Canada is a great place to start but not good as a growing capital hungry junior looking for a supportive long term shareholder base hence the trip to London and the subsequent support of institutions here. US is frankly better except legal actions against directors are a nightmare or appear so to non US citizens. | davidblack |
