Looking more and more like it was the usual pump and dump to try and get those new shares away.

For that strategy to work they would need some gulible retail gamblers.

By their own admission rmart seems to be one as they got back in ...

Fenners, probably about £50k. If you go back to the last set of accounts for going concern the auditors relied heavily on the ability of TOM to raise cash on the markets. The timing of yesterday's activity leaves suspicion that it was all to do with audit sign off.

In my view it is not credible to believe that TOM will be able to raise further equity capital without tangible evidence of a finance deal (pigs don't fly). The only other option is to slash the overhead; in which case the company does not have the capacity to deliver its opaque strategy. `

Whilst it may look like a lot of shares traded, look at the actual value its still peanuts.

The whiff is a little stronger, the cynicism a little deeper without an RNS this morning.

For TOM that was not a normal market. Who was buying those shares and why?

Unless a financing RNS comes out (the sensible thread's view on that is known), this has a cynical whiff about it.

As ever with this particular panto, nothing ever happens. Sadly for shareholders tickets cannot be refunded.

Bang on cue, a 29% increase in the market price. Suspicious? Nothing is ever suspicious in a pantomime.

The key here today is this. The last placing was at .045, those holders can now sell (some) at a profit. If they do, then it looks like a false rise. No big sells today and then it looks like news is due.
