Straw clutcher Talais has seen the 20m (£50k) go through. Perhaps it is Novum closing down their short positions to try and create a bit of a market, or perhaps it is the normal fog that the market can create. The back drop is

Further delay in the drilling
Two major errors in calculations on the drilling submissions
Assumptions on other partys' ability to fund the drilling
No funding for the strategy after many months of trying
£1m death spiral finance in place where Novum take precedence over shareholders
One employee with no industry experience of drilling for oil
A board who have ramped up their salaries without delivering
A board that do not buy the cheap as chips shares
A share that was suspended a few weeks back because of hand to mouth funding
A company that has to now rely on third parties to drive the news

With a bit of luck, we could be seeing a 1 digit representing the price tomorrow. That would be another memorable notch on the TOM bedpost. You have all been subject to a less than elaborate sham that is morally reprehensible but legal in this upside down world. This is the trick that keeps catching the chumps.
