-- Following the successful conversion of oil samples from the Petroteq Oil Sands Plant by our RDI team at QRF, Quadrise is now working with TomCo Energy PLC ("TomCo") and Valkor Technologies LLC ("Valkor") to secure commercial opportunities for MSAR(R) and bioMSAR(TM) in Utah.

-- The Valkor opportunity relates to bioMSAR(TM) and MSAR(R) production for clients in Utah with proposed "carbon negative" oil extraction, with oil expected to be available in H2 2022. Site trials are expected to lead to a commercial supply, subject to commercial agreement.

If the accounts are filed on the basis of an unconditional heads of terms next week I would have to eat 'my proverbial hat'. Drilling news maybe.

Of course JP can resort to the leakee route to reassure - as you expect the accounts will appear next week so that's a good step forward and will remove
any doubt on that point and indicate the proximity of the finance arrangements. A good note on which to end the week!

Another view being that finance news could drop any day or news on the drilling or progress by t'others.I expect accounts next week, I see no reason for the delay tactic being utilised. Just my view of course. As you know from XTR, investing requires patience...and then some.

Haha Stuart. There has been constant chatter on the TOM board over the years. It has gone silent and that does give an indication of mind set of the shareholders. A view only, but there will be no news on financing for at least 3 months - unless it is a fudge. That gap is going to test the resolve of investors.

Most of my best performing stocks over the years have had very little bulletin board traffic. It's not a barometer I use in my investing or decision making. If your aim here is to protect the weak from the evil posters then goading them to perform is odd. Some like to chatter when there's nothing new to chatter about. All the best!

Lopo I would agree with your sentiment but they are working to the rules. The lowest common denominator is always the most relevant.

But it is not rocket science or is it?
To suggest that TOM takes advantage of a ploy which just buys Time and is not relevant to its circumstances is something BDO would not accede to and would place that firm subject to a serious breach of professional regulation accusation ie delaying shareholders' financial reports for no reason.
Some Investors are losing their patience with TOM and it is quite possible that BDO is generally uncomfortable with their involvement. This really has signs of turning into a fine mess and smacks even more of thru and thru amateurism.

Lopo, no it will be for TOM to determiine how to use the time, not the auditors.

20 posts so far this working week on the other thread. Growing realisation that this is a complex and highly technical project with significant risk for anyone funding the project?

BDO will not surely be complicit in a time buying exercise.
The audit must be finished. Post balance sheet events review is done - why not finish the job today on basis that funding is in pipeline. Surely a spot of covid will not delay the audited figures for publication.
Or is BDO at loggerheads with TOM - as are some investors.

Well not for 13 weeks. It was supposed to be additional reporting time to complete the audit work, but given there is no Balance Sheet left, it is no more than a time buying exercise.

If the auditors find their association with Tom an embarrassment, let them spare a thought or two for the hapless investors who have absolutely no information about the current plight.
What is the point in letting Tom carry on carrying on if the management does not have the skills to run the business - this is what it is and has been about. How does BDO rate the leadership?
