17/3/2022 22:21 | If they require 20-50% of greenfield that's still a result for tomco shareholders. Worth remembering that GF are raising the funds. You lot may class it as a technically but 100% of GF it is at play here. | stuart little
17/3/2022 20:36 | TD But BDO may not see TOM as a going concern if there are not cast iron assurances about the funding and how likely is this to be? So what happens? | lopodop
17/3/2022 19:59 | Lopo, only the sign off running late I suspect, the work will be done. The final signature will be subject to proof of funding for the next 12 months. Only two avenues there - the current drilling or another placing. Assuming that they do not have to delay reporting (never a good position to negotiate a financial packege) then next up is the financing package. Given that the debt will be taking on 100% of the risk in a technically risky project, what % of equity will the financier want? | the diddymen
17/3/2022 19:55 | RMART Perhaps you ought to be grateful for the alternative view on TOM, expressed so many times. It's shareholders' money after all including yours that is at risk, not JP's and at the end of the day it is win win for him. | lopodop
17/3/2022 19:36 | On the subject of JP, he certainly seems to have a strong supporters club - why when the achievements so far are slack? Is it the case that Groat controls JP Or is it the other way around as is suggested. The audit is running late compared to last year - does this have significance for shareholders at this time. | lopodop
17/3/2022 16:42 | Further JP accomplishments: he managed to convince the Board to continue to write checks for an extended but inconclusive test project so that his mate SB didn't go bankrupt when Valkor had zero projects and zero income (will SB return the favour? Or maybe he already has with JP's 'permitting' gig); he managed to agree legal agreements (PQE,TSII) that attained nothing in return for Tom's 'investments'; he apparently managed to see off the several Board members who might have raised concerns about the company's direction; and he's no doubt racked up enough air miles to take his family to the Costa del Sol for an extended stay. In fact, he has aced his personal KPIs. It's just unfortunate that those KPIs didn't include ROI. | 1dutchman
17/3/2022 14:47 | I should think he feels he has accomplished quite a lot. He's managed to get paid a pile of money, possibly rivalling the amount our Prime Minister earns , whilst overseeing loss making companies .... Nice "work" if you can get it.... | fenners66
17/3/2022 14:36 | Thanks for that, could get a run of news from end of next week, gla | talais
17/3/2022 14:09 | Will tomco finally deliver? Surely they can get this finance in place and reward long term holders? | danmart2
17/3/2022 13:54 | Fenners66 In the directors' skill summaries on the TOM web page and also in the 2020 financials, Groat approved the term 'accomplished' in JP's case. What is the evidence to support that word? In 2021 financials, will that adjective be repeated? | lopodop
17/3/2022 12:26 | Im sure it was mentioned by JP that each drill was a week and core samples would be done at the same time taking around a week each. so when second drill was taking place the first was sampled. | vauch
17/3/2022 12:09 | Fenners66 They'll have to learn as most of us have at one moment or another. From memory the audit firm went out of their way to support the final accounts, which may have caused the signing off partner some later pain. There are enough Amber lights flashing here; it is always painful to admit poor judgement - most of us have to succumb to this experience - if only! | lopodop
17/3/2022 11:27 | Reform Energy Plc remember them? JP was their director that signed off the June 2019 accounts in March 2020 those accounts stated that in August 2019 a "Term Sheet was signed " Those accounts were the last filed and a liquidator was appointed to Reform Energy Plc. January 2021 So much for the term sheet then - can someone confirm that the term sheet never led to anything ? Ta, | fenners66
17/3/2022 11:26 | RAMP OF THE DAY... BUY... Keras Resources (KRS) | toopoor
17/3/2022 11:14 | fenners66 4 Feb '22 - 11:51 - 14243 of 14694 Edit I just looked up the phrase "Term Sheet" Google came up with a "non-binding agreement" Then I went back to reading Reform Energy Plc last accounts. What a coincidence (genuinely) what phrase do I read there? "a Tern Sheet was signed" fenners66 4 Feb '22 - 12:06 - 14245 of 14694 Edit Weeks away from a non-binding agreement.... Does that actually mean anything yet? Well 6 weeks tomorrow and it means nothing so far... | fenners66
17/3/2022 10:55 | Talais, Going by the RNS, the tests of the core samples are only to determine the levels of oil saturation, I'm assuming that will be at any given point in the overall length of cores taken from each borehole. As SL says, I'd be surprised if that process took any longer than a couple of weeks. I'm not even sure if the information gained from this would be required as part of the production wells permit applications, so no hold up with that process. Information that probably would be needed for the production permit applications is the depth they intend drilling to for production. I think this is determined as and when they complete the drilling of each exploration borehole. They would lay the cores taken from a borehole on the ground end to end and a visual check should tell them what depth the oil formation beings and at what depth it ends. | damac
17/3/2022 09:09 | Nice bit of buying so far. | talais
17/3/2022 08:53 | If they announce completion of drilling i'd be expecting news early next week. If they wait until the data has been assessed it'll be news in a couple of weeks. Imo. | stuart little
17/3/2022 08:47 | Third well should be finished by now, How long does it take to analyse the core samples? | talais
17/3/2022 08:35 | No it's not. It will however explode the share price, I get that. A successful drilling campaign, progress by the other 2 projects is still news worthy and should be announced when due. If may not suit everyone's trading agenda but it builds the company strategy going forward. Some of us are investing in the building of this companies assets. | stuart little
17/3/2022 08:04 | to be honest I now hope they keep a total embargo on all news except finance. If they release good drill results we will get a small spike and a fall back. Same with permits, a small spike and fall back. This is because we all know it is all dependent on the finance anyway. It is the ONLY thing that matters at present. | rmart
17/3/2022 07:56 | Hopefully within the next few weeks. | freedom97
17/3/2022 07:13 | And then q123 , you'll never keep up with there ever changing run arounds | wilson2
17/3/2022 07:10 | So up to end of June then | vauch |
