Rightly you draw attention to the permits which appear overdue. What precisely is the problem and why the lack of news? Same old TOM - something the authorities do not approve - if so the BOD must speak out and not hide.

Plenty of 'general' funds including pensions into which blocks of shares are harboured, their investors wholly oblivious to the individual enterprises which are listed under some technical term or other and usually overlooked by their readers. So any news good or bad is overlooked and ignored.

Hi fenners, I’ve been involved in many placings on AIM over the years so have a decent understanding of how they can play out. For the majority of the placing shares to be flipped in a couple of weeks with the share price 10% up on the placing price is a very good result for all concerned. Obviously that is on the proviso that this time the funds are put to good use and lead to a positive outcome. Not always been the case over the years admittedly. Cantors may be out but those shares have ended up somewhere and they weren’t all snapped up by naive small shareholders.

All the best

If Cantor are out so soon - why don't those who trumpeted having an institution on board
now wonder why they are abandoned so soon ?

How soon the other thread forgets , or chooses to gloss over

"but we're over a month late now"

"Drilling first week of December.... "

Over 2 months late

Thanks for clearing that up. I agree they'll be close to being out now. The market has done great to absorb them all. Perfect time to start dropping some news...permit received with imminent start date being a good start.

It is my understanding that certain custodians only need to declare down to 5%. Cantors would fall into this bracket, therefore they will now hold between 0 and 85m shares. My guess is closer to the lower figure on the back of recent volumes. I don’t expect any further TR1’s from them.

Well they got the funds , it must be the permits ...but we're over a month late now with the permits for the exploration wells ??

Unless we've got them , were waiting for the funds to drill

Whichever way you look at it an announcement on the exploratjon wells is well over due

So cantor now hold between 68m and 85m (4% to 5%)

Well that will allow the PQE windfall to find its new home with Tom.
But only if PQE deal is not delayed yet again.

Well I hope JP's terms of agreement do arrive in the 2 weeks that he mentioned, as the oil drill did not start at the time he suggested in the last directors talk before Christmas

It is amazing how the mms can make a market when there is a big seller. Volume down today, where have all the buyers gone who snapped up almost 500m over the last few days?

Cantor may have anticipated better reward but decided to withdraw with grace leaving the market to ponder.

So they don'e need to show the figure under 5%

Not sure how they can get away with not disclosing how many voting rights they have (shares).

That is the rule Vauch, crossing 3% (upwards) the 3% must be reported, along with each additional 1% increase from there on i.e. 4%,5%,6% etc.

Same applies for any downward movement until you go below 3%.

Which means that at the close of trading yesterday, Cantor were holding less than 5% but more than 4%.

What is the <5% about. I thought anything over 3% had to be reported
