Lopy, The pilot test was completed leading to the third party verification and subsequent FEED. This enabled in depth discussion to begin. These things don't happen over night, therefore to claim this should have been tied up ages ago is quite frankly bizarre. Also how do you know there is only one interested party? Quite naive of you that. There's not by the way.

Lopo .. Have you watched the Proactive presentation in which TOMco say they
will get the term sheet for the $145 Mill loan in 2 weeks?

Q1 .. Have you watched it?
Q2 .. Do you think there will be a term sheet in 2 weeks?

There are many enterprises here / there that would be interested in the project/s. So one would expect a queue chasing for a whole or part of the action. How many are there currently - just one - oh for pity's sake.
If things were so good, GREENFIELD would have had a signed deal long before now. Come on - let's have some realism. Months ago you were expounding as if you are the boss expecting this expecting that. What happened?
It is good that SL is reacting in fine spirit - he has a lot at risk and knows the score if JP fails. The BOD is very fortunate to have loyal benefactors - do they deserve it - well in two weeks or less investors will know.

I assume there is unlikely to be any TOMco official news before we get the
Term Sheet RNS in about 2 weeks. DF

ooooh, I'm forever grateful to have such self righteous guardians look after me. I never realised that all along they were guiding me in being a success in business and also choosing the right stocks to invest in. Just where would I be without them lol.

SL, is it just you that he/she/it is calling naive or others too lol.

Is naive not..... claiming that no funder will consider investing in Greenfield (because the Directors have not taken up shares), when a funder has already decided to do just that? I mean, talk about making a fool of one's self lol.

You are protecting me from my own naivety? Don't preach to me. You have zero knowledge of me, or others, therefore calling me naive is simply another finger waving in the air exercise. Uneducated comments like that really annoy me.

There are always different angles - just because some disagree does not mean they want failure.
On the contrary, some simply are frustrated by the naivety shown here, based probably on their years and years of experience in different industries.
Most if not all of us want this project to get underway - it's been a long time getting to this stage. Sadly for the various and highly relevant reservations listed time and time again, chances of any forward movement are unlikely. So in two weeks even two months time, investors may be waiting Just as they have been for years and years ever since TOM was first mentioned in the MAIL.
Let's see what the auditors make of the situation and given the recent news about Carillions audit partners, BDO will approach their task with inherent scepticism but if they do accept your assurances, clearly the majority may be proved right.

Looks like their priorities have changed "Exxon has prioritized key projects in Guyana, the U.S. Permian Basin as well as oil-refining and chemical build-outs since a strategic reboot in 2020"

Exxon seeks sale of Canadian shale assets to focus on oilsands

Will start marketing XTO Energy Canada in the Montney and Duvernay shale formations of Alberta

Exxon Mobil Corp. is looking to sell its Canadian shale assets to focus on Alberta’s oilsands.

Exxon and its majority-owned Imperial Oil Ltd. unit will start marketing XTO Energy Canada, which produces 9,000 barrels a day of crude and 140 million cubic feet a day of natural gas in the Montney and Duvernay shale formations of Alberta and other areas, Imperial said in a statement Wednesday.

Exxon has prioritized key projects in Guyana, the U.S. Permian Basin as well as oil-refining and chemical build-outs since a strategic reboot in 2020, when the company posted its first annual loss in four decades. Imperial is a major producer in Alberta’s oilsands, which hold the world’s third-largest oil reserves.

Exxon and Imperial each own 50 per cent of XTO. A definitive decision on the sale hasn’t been made and XTO’s operations continue as normal throughout the process, Imperial said.

SL, what they cannot understand, in their blind pig-headedness to see Tomco/Greenfield fail, is that Greenfield are already past the point of funder deciding to invest the money, that has already happened. A funder has already decided that they want to invest and they have now taken it to the next stage which is offering the heads of terms to Greenfield that they want to apply to the money they want to invest.

I am only going on what I can see in your replies (as can't see their posts) but if they are now suggesting that any funder would not want to invest in a project because the Directors have not taken shares themselves, then they are (as usual) way behind the curve on where Tomco/Greenfield are in reality.

The purpose of the placement was solely to provide some flexibility with cash flow, otherwise the exploration wells were funded. Also, the funding is not related to, and is independent of the near term drilling, which would be a bonus additional revenue stream.

A few things - 1/ I never understand the use of CAPITALS to try to make a point more significant.2/ Their respective expertise is completely aligned to the project TOM are developing,3/is there anything other than COLD Guiness? I mean hot would be very odd.

You place much faith in SB and ZP. AGREED in their own specialised fields they carry influence but unfortunately in the context of TOM and GREENFIELD that is an illusion and cannot take away the Heat from JP. BUT HAVE IT YOUR OWN WAY if it makes you feel a lot better.

By the way only had time for 8 pints of cold GUINNESS last night - looking forward to this evening!

So hello JP, tell me about your experience so far and your credentials..OK AND WHAT’s your interest in the equity directly or through the parent. Well actually at BOD level we have options - OK BUT WHAT ABOUT SKIN ..our shareholders trust me implicitly And take the risk. Does that mean you are not confident ? No No I am accomplished - see my resume and have a well proven record. Ok JP I HEAR YOUR LAST VENTURE WAS A BIT WOBBLY - let’s talk about that because we need to be sure you are up to the job and have back up. Well where shall I begin.
TOM is about one individual - no no2- no engineering / oil experience/ no equity / etc.

SL YOU ARE SO RIGHT - the Americans will not be interested.

I did suggest the placing was something to do with the finance provider taking a cut ..so I know where you're coming from ..everybody will want some of the action !!

Jay, I will be over the moon if Tomco raise £145 M and still retain 100% of Greenfield. We will know in a fortnight. I too expect considerable share price rises soon.

The profit margins are phenomenal ..are you not reading the posts , price of oil , cost per brl to extract , sale of sand end product ....

There could be a conversation around finance provided interest free for a cut or at very very favourable terms

But come on they could probably take us out for £145 m ...personally I wouldn't vote yes at that price ( about 8p) , I think this is going much higher

Ducky, I very much doubt they would give details of the terms. If the deal falls through they will leave themselves wide open to further negotiations. They will tell us the terms on financial closure. Imo
