Well think about this. If TOM is perceived to be such a brilliant opportunity, the share price would be touching 2p to 3p and RIGHTLY.
Some investors are going along with the usual JP behaviour, BUT those who do not invest are wary of JP and the NON EXECS. Can you not see how amateurish the situation is and how in particular it is trying your patience and damaging your investment. In effect the shortcomings are costing TOM investors dear! Unless there is a marked change in JP's management skills, supported by the NON EXECS, it can only be more of the same - sadly.
So whatever number of shares you hold, reflect on your 'loss' to date. One has to question whether the non execs are content with this position - is JP trying their patience and placing them in a predicament. Despite what you and your cohort may believe, JP is not irreplaceable. May be he is fed up with the absences he needs to sustain in which case TOM needs to find a technical expert who is more than content to be in UTAH 24/7.

Me too rmart. The share price is reaching important levels. A run of good news now and large, warrant holding shareholders will protect their holding by converting, thus preventing future new placing dilution to their holdings. That's what responsible supporters of a company do. I'm led to believe we have plenty. Important few weeks coming up imo.

Every aim share I'm invested in, and have been over the years, has shareholders complaining daily about lack of news. It comes with the territory. Other than getting weekly updates we will always feel somewhat in the dark. As soon as there's news we are crying for the next RNS. It's just the way it is. It's not TOM exclusive.

well, I am really expecting the newsflow to start this next week. Surely a decent update on operations is due.

If JP would show some intent to communicate properly with investors, instead of the shambolic news blackouts investors have become accustomed to, TOM may have some chance of success. Who disagrees that JP AND FOR THAT MATTER THE NON EXECS are treating investors with contempt? Whilst acknowledging this is typical AIM carry on, a chairman worth his / her salt would not condone this situation. Groat is the top man here - why does he let JP get away with it?

JP could try one of the existing forms of crowdfunding - seriously.

Well your assurances about shareholder support may be considered by the auditors in determining the going concern basis applicability and likewise your confirmation of months and months of cash. So absolutely nothing to be worried about and the auditors can sign off toute de suite.

A similar rise to tuesdays over the coming weeks and large holders with warrants will support the company. Fact. The company still has months of cash reserves so plenty of time to bring the warrants in to play. Going concern? No concern to me or other holders. I can't stop you worrying about it.

BDO will have local firms but given the key issues the London firm ought to attend in UTAH.One can only hope a NED has been over to scrutinise the position.
Absolutely, the treatment of the leases carrying value will be interesting as will the treatment of Greenfield itself and the costs apportionment.
As for the going concern position, is it going to be a headache - who knows?
The auditors may see this assignment as quite a challenge as so much depends on one person. In effect TOM is a one man operation which is always a risky scenario as has been proven so many times and can end in tragedy.

Lopo

If the auditors have no presence in the relevant country then there are protocols to accept third party audit work.

What will be interesting in the next set of accounts will be the carrying value of the 'Turboshale' leases (Carrying value £8.8m - net Share Capital and Reserves £10.7m)

I will add TOM is my last through of the dice.
I have had a fantastic journey trading for over 35 years and in that time I have a substantial profit on one share around every 5 years, this will be the next of those five years.

So you are expecting payout around that date? Ok, I presumed it would follow a bit later after the offer closed. Good luck with it!
