The next RNS will give no details of whom is paying for what or when.
The RNS's never have.
Its all just fuzzy easy to misinterpret words.

Like the Greenfield JV - it was TOM that spent the money not Valkor

But the other threads resident "experts" were quite happy to lay their (now shown) false trails of drilling to start early December, took this threads balance to say that was never going to happen....

Remember the self imposed deadline of 4 months agreed for the land option ?
Which took 6.5months ?

fenners, stop making a fool of yourself, your lack of knowledge in the Oil & Gas industry is laughable, there is no way a work over Rig would have been mobilised until all necessary permits etc in place, the Rig will still be in the yard, or moved on to another location, Tomco have lost there slot, that’s how it works, now relax and enjoy Christmas, the exploration drilling will commence, when will that be, no idea, I’ll wait for an official RNS, like you should do.

That's an interesting angle for Valkor.
We have lent the funds to pay the rent on the claim and pay for a drilling team to start 1st December, so your loan is increasing by the day.

" We agreed 1/12/21 so naturally you are liable for the wages."

TOM agreed 01/12/2021 because that suited their PR machine , without thinking about the associated consequences if drilling did not actually start for any reason .... permits, weather, covid, etc. ?

Valkor and their 28% interest , laughing all the way to the bank , after all they are a business not a charity....

Seen Damac's direct line input.

It begs the question who is footing the bill for the drilling teams sitting around. Surely someone took permitting into account?

Fenners a major assumption is that they will have the licence to drill.

This piddling loan could yet become troubling.

JP will need to deliver a very clear plan on day 1 of the new year or he will be into catching falling knives.

Until any news this is at risk of returning from whence it came.

joebloggs,

I agree, I can't see it happening now until January (assuming DOGM come through with the permit of course).

He was wrong in expecting the permit to be granted by then yes. They are all sitting primed to go, including the drilling team.

The drilling has not started as they are still waiting on the permit from DOGM.

The wells don't exist until they are drilled

The group said its non-executive chairman Stephen West has expressed his intention to step-down from the board due to the increasing time commitment required as TomCo seeks to move to the next stage of its development.

West has now left the board with immediate effect, the company said. Malcolm Groat, previously non-executive director, has been appointed as the new chairman.

Similarly, non-executive director Alexander Benger has also stepped down from the board.

At the same time, the company has announced the appointment of Robert Kirchner and Richard Horsman as non-executive directors of the company.

“As TomCo moves to its next stage of development, in particular progressing the work of the company's Greenfield Energy joint venture, I am very pleased to welcome Robert Kirchner and Richard Horsman to the board,” said TomCo chief executive John Potter in a statement.

"Robert is a very experienced oil industry executive whose skills and experience, particularly in relation to the exploitation of new technologies, will be invaluable as we move forward. Richard brings significant public company experience to the Board, coupled with an important sales and marketing focus.

"With the reorganised board, I am confident that TomCo has the right individuals in place to ensure that we can appropriately progress the commercialisation of the exciting opportunities we have.”

Why did Stephen West leave?

Perhaps before answering that one maybe the initial question should be why did he join in the first place?

Looks like the next opportunity to announce will be in the new year.

That will get the normal suspects over here.
