23/12/2021 09:39 | Hi all,Most will now be resigned to the fact that the drilling of the exploration wells will be January. I am very hopeful they will be completed early January, permits permitting!Johns "expected' drill date in December was scuppered by a link in the chain at DOGM not being available to sign off a land search document. Frustrating yes, but anyone who has dealt with government agencies or local councils will probably sympathise. No amount of foot stamping speeds these guys up!I am told that with the permit being purely exploration they are formalities, no risk in it not being issued, simply a process we have to get through before proceeding. The drilling team is on standby and with them being a local firm can mobilise fast. It is a very short project, 2-3 days trouble free. The team have carried out thousands of drills and will know the limitations of their equipment. If they assure us the weather is not an issue I'll listen to them rather than any bb Micheal Fish (s), I'm actually told that cold ground is advantageous to drill, preventing overheating of the bit and allowing speedier progress. I am assured funds are not an issue at Tomco right now!! The upcoming project is funded. It is hoped that warrants and indeed revenues will negate any need for working capital placings in 2022 but clearly at this stage there's work to do on both fronts! But i say again, no placing is needed in the coming months. We can all make out judgments and have our opinions on progress made in 2021. Mine being more positive than many. I think its fair to say its been a battle at times with baby steps being made with partners and associated companies not helping. Tomco still have improvements to make, especially with shareholder relations in my opinion. I have told them this. What we do have now, which hasn't always been the case, is a BOD's that is pulling strongly in the same direction. I'm hoping it will be strengthened as the project (s) pick up momentum. So I will thank the board but mainly John Potter (and his family) for the commitment and hard work in 2021. Much of it goes unnoticed on these boards or to shareholders in general but he has spent months of 2021 in Salt Lake City away from his young family in the quest of pushing Tomco forwards. Let's hope 2022 is the year that Tomco finally moves to revenue creating. I think it will and much earlier than many expect. I am very relaxed about my holding in Tomco going into the Christmas break, All the best,Fn. | ![]() fishyneck

23/12/2021 07:22 | MC L Castro was appointed early in 2021 to sort the funding so its wait and see what emerges. Right now TOM must be very short of cash which must impair its solvency position at this moment in time. Hence better to remain silent and keep market in guessing mode! | ![]() lopodop

22/12/2021 10:47 | This is great news for the project. Leland Bench is only 33 miles by road from TS2. The Surface Transportation Board today issued a decision granting final approval for an exemption sought by the Seven County Infrastructure Coalition (Coalition) to construct and operate a new line of railroad in Utah. This decision grants final approval for a construction and operation exemption for the Whitmore Park Alternative, subject to final environmental mitigation measures recommended by the Board’s Office of Environmental Analysis (OEA) in its Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), with minor changes. On May 29, 2020, the Coalition filed a petition for exemption for authorization to construct and operate an approximately 85-mile rail line connecting two termini in the Uinta Basin near South Myton Bench, Utah, and Leland Bench, Utah, to the national rail network at Kyune, Utah. On January 5, 2021, the Board issued a decision assessing the transportation merits of the transaction and preliminarily concluded, subject to completion of the ongoing environmental and historic review, that the proposed transaction meets the statutory standards for exemption. On August 6, 2021, OEA, in cooperation with stakeholders, tribes, and federal, state, and local agencies, completed an EIS that identified the Whitmore Park Alternative as its Environmentally Preferable Alternative because it would avoid or minimize major environmental impacts. The Board’s decision is effective on January 14, 2022. The decision in Seven County Infrastructure Coalition—Rail Construction & Operation Exemption—in Utah, Carbon, Duchesne, and Uintah Counties, Utah, Docket No. FD 36284, may be viewed and downloaded here.... | ![]() damac

22/12/2021 09:19 | Hopefully JP is focussing on getting the permits, making sure that the drilling happens and then raising the $110+m. As a shareholder it might be sensible to establish that TOM has taken a sensible life cover over the one employee. | ![]() the diddymen
