Surely you are not suggesting JP is withholding information from the other directors?

And you classify the value of 50m options and ongoing employment against losing your job as "win/win". Can you explain? On passed experience you probably won't.

Unless of course you "assume" john is keeping the truth from the board and the wider investment community. That wouldn't be smart.

Ok, 'assume' was the wrong word. Sorry. We know they do. No assumption about it.,they know there are millions to be made from a positive outcome.

Assume, assume assume - no No. You may find they need a very stiff scotch each night to absorb the headaches. JP on the other hand can remain as happy as Larry - for him it is win win - a smart operator would you not agree.

It's become standard across most aim shares at certain points of the day. 8.50, 10,50...for 10 minutes.

We can only assume Malcolm, Louis, and Ed know a great deal more about this project than you then. To be fair Wilson2 probably does too. :-)The board can make millions from this, the shrewd accountants know so.

For the record and yet again, Groat and Castro are Chartered Accountants. If their handling of TOM AS NON EXECS is in anyway flawed these gentlemen will be ruined and blackballed. They are very conscious of their professional and legal responsibities.
Question why should they be involved in this venture for a miserly £35k a year and some long term options which may never yield a bean.
TOM is being run on a shoestring - the directors could lose heavily. Surely the directors are not that desperate financially - many Chartered Accountants would not take this on.

Ps TOM has one employee - what happens if the employee can no longer perform his duties. Is there any back up officially?

Protracted saga? Another lopyism....drilling next week or so. JP, the whole board has millions to gain from a positive outcome!

Take as long as you wish - sadly the result will be the same! The non execs are probably as hesitant as the market - they cannot allow another protracted saga. JP has little to lose either way.
Ed could be wrong!

A typical analyst. They never commit and will always hedge. He should know the difficulties in the fund raise. 100% unhelpful.

Diddy, as Ed said "Is the market being too pessimistic over the chances of funding?" You clearly think not, I think so. Q1 will hopefully give us the answer. That aside, this new project, very low capex, has the potential to create £20-30m a year profit (should they get to 25 wells). That in itself is company making and a reason for optimism. IMO

The $110m+ will be risk capital. Shareholders will not be taking that risk, unless as you point out there is a significant placing, which would be unconventional.

At least they've put the bid up to 0.69p.

No Diddy. Financial closure quoted as Q1 2022. I'm not sure I've seen this side of christmas quoted, certainly not by anyone respected. Also the market won't be taking 100% of the risk of the project. Unless you believe £100m will be via a placing? And the deep zones will be initiated with very low capex so very little risk on that play.

The market seems to have similar concerns to this side of the fence.

The NOMAD did their bidding yesterday and purchased a few more weeks without another placing. Pity the Directors cannot show a similar commitment.

JP (who, SL, I have said in my view is playing a blinder so far notwithstanding it is a worthless effort) now has to convince the market to take 100% of the risk of the project. That will not come cheap because JP will have to provide the data room - hence the cash burn that they will be going through at the moment.

I have still seen nothing definitive on the contracts/execution of the drill plan starting in 8 days.

Financing in place by Christmas wasn't it?

The Board will surely be anticipating a signicant bounce in share value which will make a significant impact for many reasons. Clearly RMART has to get his skates on and do some promotion to help JP.

Other industry experts say oil supply is going to exceed demand next year.
That when the FED says inflation is transitory they are taking that into account.

That does not matter as the business could be profitable at..... I hear them claim...

Problem is , all those financiers previously burned by oil shale producers and now negatively influenced by ESG are going to be running what if numbers and want to build in a suitable measure of protection...

That may be not lending anything , status quo so far, or doing their equivalent of 28%+....

Funny how the fantasy thread goes clams up when you ask them to calculate the DCF even using $75 a barrel with WACC at 28% ..... not.

Why use 28% ?
Because that is what they have just agreed to of course, now they could say that JP's credit card would be used for some of it and he's only paying say 19% ...

But the latest real rate from within the business is .... 28%.

Calculators out boys....

Well the market is holding its breath. Even the chairman may be biting his nails hoping that JP hasn't over promised and SB must wonder why his operation had to fork out cash and whether JP will continue to have the non execs on side.
