So what's your plan then vauch , hanging around with no price movement for goodness knows when, or cash out with a loss and move to something with a chance of making a profit

I don't think there will be any buying until there is news. Unless there is a leak.

I'm reading good news into this with regards to preempting finance approval. So going to pop in a £1mill top up.

Valkor using Greenfield on their own leases would also mean royalty payments due to Valkor on oil sold.

I think this song perfectly sums up my current opinion.

There are more questions than answers. Johnny Nash.

Well worth a listen.

Ducky, yes they do have their own leases.

As I mentioned yesterday though, if Valkor/Tomco have one eye on a Greenfield or Tomco takeover by an as yet unknown party further down the line, then it is logical to fatten up Greenfield/Tomco for said takeover. Valkor using the CORT technology on their leases via Greenfield (where feasible) would put serious money on the Greenfield/Tomco balance sheets and reflect in the market capital. Valkor’s 29% of any sale could be massive if they choose run the workload through it.

Yes Damac as I posted earlier Valkor want to act independantly ...they've obviously crunched the numbers and having their own leases , own plant , paying 2 m licence fee is more profitable than sharing 50% with Tom ...but for the work done so far , they hang onto 29% of Tom and participate in Toms future profits

Which obviously must add up to more than staying in the Greenfield JV

I think Fenner's questions are reasonable. But I have seen him on other BB's with his negative agenda.

It would not surprise me if TOMco got bid for AFTER the plant is up and running.

I do wonder whether Valkor plan to go on their own and have their own Valkor
Oil Sand plants in addition to owning 29 per cent of Tomco.

Haven't Valkor bought additional leases.

You use the term “want out of Greenfield” where I see it more as ‘changing the method by which you benefit from a successful Greenfield’ 😉

Plus at any time it would be very easy for Valkor to trigger a bid

All looks good for Tom ..I go into the weekend feeling more optimistic

Which takes you back to why did Valkor want out of greenfield ...because they wanted the best of two worlds ...progressing their own leases and getting all the profits and getting 29% of Tom's profits as well
