01/4/2021 07:51 | The new word on the block is tweak | ![]() wilson2
01/4/2021 07:46 | Rmart, it’s up to 6 weeks for the FEED to be completed due to having to wait on the data from this latest tweak to the system. According to the RNS, the plant will be back online shortly after Easter, which is this weekend. | ![]() damac
01/4/2021 07:43 | S little there isn't going to be 10,000 bpd plant , so stop giving out ridiculous statements | ![]() wilson2
01/4/2021 07:36 | It's also to do with the different characteristics of the ore from the actual site that will be used for our 10k plant. If they hadn't realised now and resolved it it would have caused issues further down the road. Good practice in my book. I'm fine with this. | ![]() stuart little
01/4/2021 07:36 | Unfortunately rmart yes, but as clearly explained in the RNS, you would agree that it is entirely justified, surely? You would rather have them making additional tweaks to the system to optimise the output, wouldn’t you? | ![]() damac
01/4/2021 07:31 | Just another few weeks then. It will be warm in Utah in 6 weeks, then they won’t need the heater. I genuinely thought a previous video from Petroteq had addressed the cold weather issue months ago? | rmart
01/4/2021 07:23 | Update, makes me laugh as we knew this a week ago regarding weather and equipment upgrades. They avoid saying what was achieved on a day shift (was it that bad) | ![]() vauch
01/4/2021 07:19 | Also it seems we have built the plant in the wrong location , so we will have bring the (sand) from another site. What an absolute mess | ![]() wilson2
01/4/2021 07:15 | A trial doing what it is intended for I guess. Confirmation that we are using the oil from our proposed site. The need to make tweaks to the system is unfortunate but that's the nature of the beast and the reason we are 'practicing' with the POSP. Better to find out now and resolve than on a newly built plant. Should be back up and running next week by the looks of it. | ![]() stuart little
01/4/2021 07:14 | Well I'm sorry to say ,this is f--ed , because it was cold we couldn't produce 250 bpd | ![]() wilson2
01/4/2021 07:14 | Well, that news release from Petroteq last Monday all makes sense now. So as part of the testing program following the POSP upgrade they have now identified parts of the process that would benefit from further changes, particularly around processing ore from the proposed site. Obviously disappointing that this then results in a slight delay on when FEED will be completed but entirely necessary and prudent to make these further changes. I can live with that. That’s why the testing phase was necessary, to iron out any glitches in the upgraded system. | ![]() damac
01/4/2021 07:07 | Well , I'm still playing Diana Ross | ![]() jaynealex
31/3/2021 23:38 | The facility maintenance program and equipment redesign have been completed for sand separation, clean sand production, and liquid and sediment extraction equipment. All equipment is now on site and commissioning of these devices is expected to begin immediately. Petroteq would like to thank its shareholders for their extreme patience and long-term support so far, as Petroteq looks forward to the project developing its potential in the coming weeks. Below is a graphic of Petroteq’s new plant design. Levels 3 and 4 include the addition of new vibratory separation units, which will virtually eliminate the need to put abrasive sand into the centrifuges. Level 5 is the new equipment for clean sand and level 6 is the new equipment for sediment extraction. Petroteq believes that these upgrades will reduce maintenance costs in the long term. | ![]() damac
