A contract for a 250km seismic survey that starts this quarter and a mining licence application at the Lesedi CBM-to-power project in Botswana were lodged recently. Through the seismic, Tlou aims to extend the base of reserves and resources, while a mining licence will give long term tenure and rights to commercialise the Lesedi gas. 21/7/2017 11:22 | 8p definitely feels like a new base, currently awaiting news of the seismic starting, rfp submission (and details) and anyways the possibility of further reserves upgrade. Mid to long term continues to look on track and more importantly exceptional. Enjoy your Fridays | billyboychrisd

19/7/2017 14:40 | TLOU Energy Limited (LON:TLOU) has made good progress over the last quarter says house broker Shore Capital. A contract for a 250km seismic survey that starts this quarter and a mining licence application at the Lesedi CBM-to-power project in Botswana were the highlights. The seismic’s aim will be to extend the base of reserves and resources, while the anticipated award of a mining licence is expected to provide long term tenure and rights to commercialise the Lesedi gas. A new gas generator has reduced costs versus diesel generation, in addition to providing an effective proof of concept for gas generation. “We continue to believe that Tlou is in pole position to emerge as the winner in the current RFP tender process and that the stage is now set for its transition into a leading Botswana independent power producer.” cheers ft ft | ftangftang

18/7/2017 10:17 | A pain for the invested although the RNS has & will prove a great buy back in opportunity for the likes of me. I sold out in last year and always regretted it especially when funds in other shares did not permit me to buy back in over the past couple of months. Then the share price raced back up to circa 9p and thought it would cost me a fair bit to get back in. Have now bought a few back and will again buy some more over the new couple of weeks, not massive amounts to some here but a fair wad to my normal buys. I just get the feeling with these guys that yes, they've done it before, twice and yes, they are on the verge of doing it again with Tlou. Good luck all. | dorset64

14/7/2017 12:06 | I'd agree, a great opportunity and development for all may be unfolding | mr.oz
14/7/2017 11:42 | Nah, it's the first time this country has gone into this kind of development so not really surprised. I think it's really incredible what TLOU are looking to do in Botswana and not only will it potentially make lots of money but benefit huge numbers of local people in jobs, electricity, cleaner air, etcAs you say the board developments are exemplary and it's VERY difficult to see any downsides in this company right now. | billyboychrisd
14/7/2017 11:28 | Quiet here . Anyone feel uneasy about the technical document delay being anything other than what it's meant to be? The recent appointment is very encouraging however | mr.oz
13/7/2017 07:55 | It appears ASX has closed up overnight, 9.6p or there abouts. | wheniamfree
12/7/2017 14:29 | Excellent appointment really, look at the quality on the board? I think Tlou is really going to deliver here and in a big way. | wheniamfree
