As far as I'm aware there's a strong chance it will be in Q4, it could be as soon as six weeks from submission. Having followed this journey for a while, my opinion is that it will be anytime from mid November (but I'll welcome it with open arms before then!) :-) I think we will see interest building from November into the decision, then news of the next steps/funding could come anytime after this.

They also said 3-6 months for the mining license, they had that back in 6 weeks.

I think they're very fair with their estimations, it maybe it will take the full time as you stated but thereby is a possibility it could come sooner. Let us see.

The official info from both the Gov and Business said something about by Q1 2018. Certain plans and timescales in Business presentations also stated the same.
Despite the obvious 'lead' TLOU should have over the only competing Tender, the Gov still have to follow due process, so if they said Q1 '18 6 months ago AND haven't communicated anything different since, then Q1 '18 it is.

Since the process has incurred delays already, I'm guessing it will be Feb/Mar in Q1... but who knows ????

The first cbm tender in Botswana? I'd imagine it will be fairly well reviewed before a decision is made. I do however think it won't take the three months they have mentioned. I read somewhere that the Morupole tender took just 6 weeks and with the mining license being approved in such a quick manner I'd like to think a tender response would also be accelerated.

I seem to remember the CEO mentioned early 2018, but I suspect he was being ultra-conservative. With just 2 tendering, it's unlikely to take long to separate them and they will be keen to get going. In the meantime, they'll be busy with the seismic studies and increasing the reserves/resources in Q4.

could be a few months away. they had 2 month delay in getting the RFP. it is only 2 companies though, and 1 of them is a few years ahead in development than the other. downside from here seems limited but the upside still remains

Going to continue to monitor through to Feb, as previously disclosed months ago, weighing up if this will build momentum towards a BOOM from next Spring.

they are being prudent and providing the facility to raise cash through equity, it does not mean they will implement that option. I think caution is sensible with all small companies as the careful use of words has surprised many before e.g. fully funded but then they raise more cash through equity, because they forgot to mention the bit they were not fully funded for....very slippery sometimes the way they work

Would be worth re listening to the FD from a couple of days ago
Gives you a clearer idea of how project finance will be achieved
I'm not impressed with a certain person and irrational antics here at times.
