If there had not been 18 months of previous shameless hyping in their PR efforts, this would actually be good and now appropriate messaging.
Isn’t it strange that having reiterated on a regular basis about the supportive Govt, they now embarked on an internal marketing effort within Bots. Just a tad contradictory, but since the RFP bid is now submitted then these kind of PR efforts are necessary.
In case anyone is still not clear - the RFP submission was for up to 10mw. Thereafter it’s still all ahead and all to play for.

Another week in paradise. And another week of delusional thinking for BuzzPot - won’t take much to move this.

Dork and muppet - 2 for the price of one.

Closed below 5.50 pence and he thinks it won’t take much to get it going. Jeez, there is stupid, real stupid and then Buzz stupid !!!! Unbelievable, really unbelievable .

Interesting point of view articulated here. As I said before, Khama has not been good for the country. Sadly.

yes the delays do have a real impact. 1year delay means 1 extra year of funding from the punters.

Hey Donks,

Should:

"Estimated cash at end of 2019 $3.76m"

Not be:

"Estimated cash at end of 2018 $3.76m" ???

Cash in bank at start of this Qtr $9.1m;

Estimated cash flow for this Qtr:
Yet more exploration $4.2m;
Staff and Overhead $0.74m;
Equipment $0.40m;

Estimated cash at end of 2018 $3.76m

And if RFP award is delayed beyond March 2019 or has further issuance problems ...... sheep, cliff, big thud !

They just get stupiditer and stupiditer. BradSmith - which planet do you live on?!

“The Hotcopper info about corruption in Botswana encourages me that the resubmission was just part of the tidy up to deny further corruption. If it saves us a bung or two the wait could be worthwhile. And if it does not help our competition it could be the end of them? Not sure what else they have to offer.”

Tlou hope to be awarded initial 2mw and build up to 10. Sekaname going for the full shilling of 100mw. So no reason for both of them to not be awarded what they submit for - they are after all delivering this at their own cost. So why stifle their efforts or enthusiasm...

Some of the talk and posts on lse is staggeringly naive; literally beyond belief.

Hey Donks. Now that the share price has tanked another 7%, did you see the Gilby FanBoys on that other site calling you and kenners out like you are to blame for the fall?

What a bunch of losers. I can see this smashing through the 4p barrier by Christmas, in fact an share price suspension before the Quakes kick in, in February is now looking a distinct probability. Ha Ha Ha !!!

First Khama behaving like a spoiled kid, now the country on a FATF watchlist, testing times for the Govt of Botswana these days. Suggests no fast track of CBM into the counry’s Energy security mix as there are much bigger fish to catch sadly.

How many time did the self proclaimed scribes post the supportive Govt, low corruption, open economy to do business drivel .... Check your suspension gear.

Ok, so you don’t want to talk about Orapa. What about Selebi-Phikwe, where one of Tlou’s amazing and super well-connected NEDs is tearing up the community and sorting things out:

Er, well not quite it would appear. Still she got some Performance Rights to get Tlou sorted out - from banking to Ministry and Energy and PPADB. Shame that fancy Merc was taken as the ex-gratia- since it appears to me that labels the incumbent in the ex-Pres camp. And that just might prove to be a bad decision or the wrong side of the political divide ahead ...

Interesting times - hope some of you are managing to keep up.

Hey Buzz - post a few more links mate ...

Actually I think it is time to talk about how the RFP might turn out.

Will they allow new power stations to be built etc by Tlou and Sekaname, selling power to BPC under a PPA,
OR
Will Govt and Ministry change tack and instead say to both we prefer you supply gas to Orapa ??

Does anyone know if / who has been appointed by Govt for the 2 tenders - Owner Engineer (Orapa gas supply) and Transaction Advisor (100mw RFP) ?? This would be something worth knowing

Yes Mavis, so you did. It would be rude not to. So, what happens when the the rfp is delayed again, or rejected? What happens when Sekaname win the auction? What happens when your partner learns all your investment monies are gone, placed on a useless company run by a CEO in Brisbane, a Financial Officer in Dublin and dear old Wacky Gabakke in his air conditioned office in Gabarone?? And the icing is those Earthquakes which will kick in mid February next year. Cause? Tlou Energy fracking.

Yes, think you are right Maverick, but no rush, I doubt there will be any movement on the RFP this side of Christmas and there may be some drilling results that will give the share price a nudge but nothing significant. Its a waiting game imo, best to use any available cash on better opportunities.
