03/12/2018 18:12 | Wrong again Sats - I doubt if all that many were smart enough to have sold at 16p. Although surely some were astute enough to lighten their load and lock in some profit.... I have not banged the drum here about pump and dump - rather I bang the drum about BS hype and fanciful portrayal of the CBM and Tlou future. | donkey40
03/12/2018 18:10 | Purpose of this board is to talk about Tlou..... KMR - EGM on Wednesday to approve start of dividend payments. $265+m Income for 2018. It’s troubles and refinancing are behind it; Tlou hasn’t even yet got troubles ... since it can’t actually get started on anything commercial. Basically Shrek and the Princess - pointless comparing them. But that won’t stop olde Windy since that seems to be the only way he thinks he can rile me. Baaaaa. | donkey40
03/12/2018 15:03 | “Maybe you should have listened to someone else ....” You mean you? How’s KMR doing again - enough said. | wheniamfree
03/12/2018 14:01 | Donks you used to keep saying we’d all bought at 6p and sold at 16p. So we haven’t lost anything right? :) | satsuma1
03/12/2018 08:51 | Thanks to all my friends here suggesting what is best for me. It is reassuring to know I am bugging you all. 1 v so many - sorry for your loss fellas. Maybe you should have listened to someone else .... | donkey40
03/12/2018 08:21 | Donkey. You have posted occasional interesting points of view. But it's clear to everyone there's something not healthy here for you It's OK to ask for help. | mr.oz
03/12/2018 06:51 | “Well I had to listen to you and your mates for months on end about supportive Govt, lack of corruption, great partners, blue sky ahead, yada yada yada..” You didn’t have to listen to anything, you aren’t invested and never have been. By your own admission you are here to annoy Tlou investors and now you are obsessed as well as being self absorbed. As someone just stated, get help. | wheniamfree
01/12/2018 17:30 | Chips and shoulders come to mind. Donkey, in all seriousness, I think you should get professional help. Your obsession is really not healthy and I worry for your mental health. Please, go see someone dear | mgellie
01/12/2018 14:43 | Christ you go on and on. You and I have already exchanged messages etc where I have done as such. But you STILL act the victim? Can’t win with you. | satsuma1
01/12/2018 13:30 | Sats - you disagreed with everything I had to say last year. And now in 2018 you occasionally agree with my posts in 2018. And you want to suggest / lecture me on cynicism .... really. Well I had to listen to you and your mates for months on end about supportive Govt, lack of corruption, great partners, blue sky ahead, yada yada yada.. My cynicism is about Botswana, Govt and Ministry, CBM and related policy. Govt gazettes CBM policy in May 2016 (for those that didn’t actually ever know that), issued a 100mw pilot tender for CBM gas to power on 28th Decembef 2016 and here we are end of 2018 and still not awarded and no green light. And in the mean time, Govt went ahead and appointed Dr Stefan Swartz to head up BPC - his background and his then appointed COO are from Solar industry. BPC are the buyers of power generated from CBM feedstock, so forgive me if I think it is bloody important to follow BPC developments. And I will forever continue to be cynical about Bots and Govt /Ministry until I see concrete signs/proof that they will actually promote CBM industry. My cynicism of Tlou stems from the absolute undeniable proof now that Tlou management over-hyped their business potential and model, paying scant regard to the political risks in-country. And this then latched onto by Tidd (who may or may not have been engaged by the company to help promote - but it sure felt at the time like he was in bed with them) and other idiots that blindly followed his trail of endless hyped posts and special purpose websitesa and headers to message boards. Now that that has all tumbled down, please I don’t feel the need for a lecture from you or anyone about telling me to stop being cynical !!! What is actually more appropriate is an apology from you and many of your mates - but I won’t be holding my breath for that !! | donkey40
01/12/2018 09:25 | Donks tbf if that article was about CBM and not solar, you’d be saying “doesn’t mean it’ll happen, government never as supportive as they seem” etc etc. But because it’s about solar and sound sbad for CBM you post as if it’s a sure thing. I’m more than happy to listen to, and occasionally agree with your posts nowadays but try to add some of your cynicism to other energy projects in Botswana and not just TLOUs | satsuma1
30/11/2018 22:17 | The outlook for CBM isn’t getting any brighter: November 29 (Renewables Now) - Botswana Power Corporation (BPC), the state-owned utility of Botswana, this week launched a competitive selection process for the construction of 12 solar parks in the African country. According to the Request for Proposals (RfP), the scope of work under the projects includes development, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of the photovoltaic (PV) facilities. Interested parties will be able to submit proposals by March 29, 2019. BPC did not provide further technical or financial details related to the tender. Cited by The Patriot, the company’s CEO Stefan Schwarzfischer said that the competition targets independent power producers (IPPs) and added that BPC aims to provide more electricity connections and thus cover the whole country within the next few years. According to data by The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Botswana generates the bulk of its power from coal, with its installed power generation capacity standing at 730 MW. | donkey40
30/11/2018 18:37 | Hey Tom - why not ask Tidd. After all, there wasn’t anything this guy did not know about Tlou all the way through 2017.... And what he didn’t know, he made up. And here we all are now, nobody appears to know anything except me. And all I do is tell lies .... Except that the wondrous story that was Tlou in 2017 didn’t materialise in 2018 and the liar appears to be not that far off the mark. Still no doubt I expect everybody hopes Tidd overcomes his ‘personal problems’ and can soon start allaying everyone’s fears that they did indeed back a winner.... Is just a bit poor form though that Tidd just took himself out of circulation when the going got tough... Not really the way real leaders and good Advisors perform or behave... Some might even say shameful really. | donkey40
29/11/2018 23:59 | Contradicts an article about output from Morupule that I posted earlier in the week. No mention of gas sadly. | donkey40
29/11/2018 22:06 | Why don’t you try posting something then and lead a conversation. Criticising is real easy | donkey40
29/11/2018 17:44 | WTF! Those responding to the usual drivel-spillers demote themselves to the same level. Just ignore, & they'll die by themselves........ | napoleon 14th
29/11/2018 07:52 | Which of my posts / points annoyed you so much you came back here bleating? Was it: They don’t actually have the full EIA approvals they said they did in first posts about this; or They are not applying for the full 100MW available in the tender; or They needed to perform seismic to pretend they were working hard whilst spending more shareholders money (Strata-X seem to find their gas easily enough); or 409m shares issued and still not a lot to show for it does actually mean significant dilution and wasteful spend of shareholders money; or The much vaunted partners who were shamazing actually have contributed next to nothing here thus far; or The Bod have actually never delivered any power to anyone anywhere ever before; or That I said the share price would collapse back on itself whilst you and your muppet mates had it at 30, 40, 50 cents to infinity and beyond; or The content of their RNS shows remarkably consistent disingenuity; or By and large, I been right all along here and you, ..... well things just haven’t turned out as you had hoped .... Sorry for your loss (no I am not, I must stop saying that). Enjoy the smell of your morning coffee sport | donkey40 |
