I like to put things into context just so the Gilby FanBoys can understand the truth, appreciate the realities and choke on their pint of strawberry Fanta. After a few minutes research - look what I have found...

Q: What can an energy source supply at 2MW?

A: 1,300 homes for a year.

Let's say 3, no 4 bodies to a home, that is a whopping 5,200 people in Botswana that TLOU just took out of energy deprivation.

I can just see the regurgitated Fanta spraying all over Buzzy Boy's Captain Scarlet bedroom wallpaper. HA HA HA !

Well well, 2mw has certainly shut the cheerleaders up!! I am loving this - more and more right by the week. You lot must be choking on your bile !!

We have all been taken for one huge big ride by this lot. The question will eventually become whether Gilby will stay the course here - or take what he can and cut and run. Probably in about 18 months from here. Just dreadful, dreadful dreadful. Have a choking lovely weekend cheerleaders...

Just curious - do you need the downstream permits in place before you build the power station or can you apply for those once you have an Offtake and are building out whatever infrastructure is required to deliver your Offtake?

As for Sekaname - imagine what with their Panama Papers and fracking scandals plus plenty of brown envelopes, and after getting the RFP delayed 2 or 3 times, they are going to be just fine ! Especially as Tlou are impressing the market by aspiring to deliver 2mw in 2020.... Yup the most advanced CBM gas company in Bots have the Karoo all to themselves

Trying to find out the progress of sekaname . Not much out there only old stuff and kalahari not much better. It appears that they do not as yet have any down stream permits in place. Can anyone throw any light on their situation please. It need not reply

If Tlou are serious about submitting a bid for an initial 2mw, I hope Ministry treats that Bid with the contempt they are clearly showing to the 100mw RFP process.

Govt and Ministry have been pretty clear I thought - this 100mw RFP was about getting CBM and gas economy going in country. Tlou’s approach doesn’t support them imo.
How do you ask for 50mw, work for 2 to 3 years and submit a bid for an initial 2mw. And justify that by publicly saying your strategy is to bid small and wait for higher prices - seriously, Tlou could be in real trouble here with such a contemptuous approach ...

Guys, any chance you can just ignore it rather than respond to its pointless posts. It posted at 1:39 am then 8:42 am the next morning. So basically it goes to bed thinking about Tlou and wakes up thinking about Tlou. I'm not angry with it, but just feel nothing but pity. It obviously has mental health issues and we shouldn't feed it.

Control of the leases went from Sekaname to Saber to Tlou, with Talon partnering in some broker or facilitator capacity. They were at one point 30% major shareholders in Tlou, then exited for reasons known to them.
But I suspect if they expected to make loadsa $$$, they would have stuck rather than folding.
So the principals here are Sekaname, Saber and Tlou - as usual you are in such a hurry to discredit me, you forget to understand matters.

Now the real question on this is - why did Talon exit Tlou. Any guesses ??

We had this same conversation last year on LSE - so I already know your answer. But go on - tell the world again .....
