Khama trying to stitch up Masisi with the elephant poaching story last week. Masisi fighting back this weekend:

So much for the illusion that Botswana was a corruption free, idyllic destination for a safari. Khama wants his mates to retain control of important Safari franchises, plus implication his family associates have been trying to broker deals by selling mining licences. The BCL debacle is starting to play out now; Kagosi increasingly likely to be called to account over missing NPF funds and bogus payments for defence contracts to Israel.

Like I said last week, this will get much worse for remainder of 2018, before one or other wins out. I suspect BDP is bigger than Khama - but how much damage or havoc is he prepared to unleash. Certainly his brother’s bid for eventual VP is increasingly dead in the water.

Pilot production well locations have been agreed, scoured and inspected.

Jeez almighty - so they got an ordinance survey map, jumped in the Jeep and went for a drive... And stuck a stake in the ground ....

Jeez the idiots have been let out of the looney farm for an hour. Nothing new particularly. Do they really need an announcement to tell us they are ‘pre-mobilisation’ to prepare the site for drilling and still waiting for remaining long lead items to arrive?
Usual disingenuous bluff about CNG and LNG small scale projects just waiting to be executed. Well if they are so close, and RFP is taking so long, why don’t they just get on an deliver one or other of them. Tlou have never been slow to name drop in the past, so why not name these new parties approaching them for these small projects?!
For the record, there is nothing small scale about LNG projects that I have ever seen.
Nothing has changed, the RFP is the fastest and first route to market. All else is disingenuous attempts to make increasingly disgruntled and skeptical shareholders think otherwise. All these projects require gas as feedstock and Tlou doesn’t have much of this proven as yet.
Serowe has been mentioned as the location of choice to connect to the grid; they are still talking about this. They are still talking about just about everything. That sadly is Botswana for you ....

TLOU going about their business in a professional manner. Nice work and their ability to deliver this modular project is now how they will be measured

Donkeys only just read it because he can’t do his own research and relies on everyone else.

Donks have a look at the operational update, 3 production pods equating to 9 wells of which 6 are lateral.

Remember when we had that little bet? You wrongly told everybody that all wells will be vertical and I called you out? Well care to uphold your financial gentelemans agreement and donate the £10k to charity or are you that much of a scumbag you’ll deny a worthy cause? It looks like you were wrong again.

Blisters - can you confirm how you are calculating the available reserves per MW because it looks to me like your calculator is a little broken.

Approx 1bcf per annum per 10mw has been aired as the accurate calculation based on a number of factors including methane content. Rather than just stick your finger in the air and guess why not keep things real? Furthermore initial pilot is for 10MW on a staged approach so use your fingers and toes and you’ll realise that the current reserve base (which will expand further on successful pilot well flows) is more than adequate.

Of course, Blister and Donkey are the same person but we all know that.

clearly if they are bidding for the RfP they must have some credible basis. this is not a new surprise. TLOU has a basis for bidding which we know more about. whether both parties can get the nod i don't know but TLOU are getting everything in place to sell gas

40bcf of 2P reserves. Pathetic. 1.3 years of 100MW capacity. 15 months. 105 weeks. That is totally grim. I remember Gilby stating that GE does not matter for diesel. I remember Gilby stating that flow rates don't matter. Do you know what? Gilby is an arrogant piece of filth that fleeces UK shareholders of their savings and pensions. The evidence is before your very eyes. Gilby Australian. Colm Clueless Irish. Wacky Babacky colonial. All Brit haters to their core. If you're British and believe in Britain, do not be conned - they want your money. You'll get nothing back. Guaranteed.

Lying again, he never said they lost all their leases - the leases in question were apparently revoked, information is in the public domain DYOR.

Double standards from Blinkey;

“I will always remember thinking the arrogance of this man is something else”

And then in the same paragraph;

“I also remember he was pitching to a bunch of dimwits.”

So as usual people do their research and you jump on the back of it since you cant do any yourself? You post points that you were educated on because originally you had to be corrected. We then move to the false prophet point, is this false like the time you told us a Mining license couldn’t be awarded without a PPA? Or that reserves were wrong? Or that a mining license can’t be granted over a permit block? Or that Tidd83 deleted his posts?

Silly boy.

What an interesting article - man I wish I had seen that one sooner. What I remember is a Friday pm briefing update by TG to mostly retail shareholders when he was in London last November time. The Gasconsult LNG project was mentioned and TG said he knew nothing about it but if they were going to need gas, then they would have to ‘speak to us’.
That was the same interview he also said ‘you know what Govts are like’ and something along the lines of ‘throw the opposition a bone’.
I will always remember thinking the arrogance of this man is something else - but then I also remember he was pitching to a bunch of dimwits. Still he should be more careful what he speaks. There was of course the usual chorus of Great interview; great update; great great great...
Well folks now we know - this is a 2 horse race. Sekaname claim to have 10.8tcf of P50 Resources - they have drilled it seems 80-odd Wells. And Tidd83 - in case you missed it - it sure don’t seem like they lost their leases. Very far from it apparently... False Prophet rumbled - the flock will be starting to bleat soon.
Ho hum - have a great weekend cheerleaders. Well well well, who would ever have thought ....
