18/9/2018 17:04 | Oh really, tell everyone how the leases ended up with Tlou then... Panini - suggest you check your position before jumping on the wrong bandwagon. | donkey40
18/9/2018 16:04 | “Also public knowledge Sekaname sold their leases to Saber who then sold them to Tlou.” Do you get anything right? Instead of trying to educate people with your ill informed posts why don’t you do some research? The above wasn’t the case at all and you have been educated on this point before. For someone who claims to know more than everyone else, why do you feel the need to tell people how things are when they are the ones who informed you of the truths in the first place? You aren’t being clever, those of us who understand the company don’t need an education piece from a misguided muppet who can’t even post things correctly. | wheniamfree
18/9/2018 13:42 | certainly the RNS seemed a bit of a stop gap information filler. if they actually broke ground with a drill that would be better | money4me
18/9/2018 12:17 | Keep up the good work you old Windbag. Maybe one day you will post something relevant. Is this what it has come to from you, Buzz and McGoo?! Obvious strategy you dreamt up trying to drown me out. You must be real pipped off that the Moderator here won’t listen to your collective childish noises. Amazing how you 3 are the main cheerleaders now. Even Tidd has moved on; but you 3 elephants are still here banging your pathetic drums and repeating repeating repeating. At least try make it interesting for the rest of us - say something new, Say something about Tlou (other than great update; Buy side looks strong; free float drying up; usual blah blah). Unbelievable - first line of yday Operations Update: “Pilot production well locations have been agreed, scouted and inspected; site preparation work has commenced for the first pilot production well” Just think that all through, and how pathetic this really is. Is this keep shareholders informed?! Maybe they should tell us what they had for breakfast as well. It’s a comedy of increasingly gargantuan proportions - and you are too stupid and stubborn to admit it. | donkey40
18/9/2018 11:12 | Donks DYOR. Are you going to uphold your bet and donate to charity? Silly that you call everyone stupid when only the other week you were ramming it down everyone’s throats that people had requested posts be deleted from LSE when they hadn’t. Just like all the other lies you told us which turns out to be wrong but, as you said - you know everything. Selective memory loss? | wheniamfree
18/9/2018 11:11 | just reviewing Kalahari Energy and they seem to have been involved with CBM and other energy solutions but some less favourable reports are also apparent. having 2 companies bidding seems sensible so lets see the outcome | money4me
17/9/2018 22:59 | I am confused about Tlou’s claim to be the most advanced CBM company in Bots and Southern Africa. Today from article posted by Buzz - “the Lesedi first pilot production well is due to be drilled next month.” Last week in that Engineer magazine: “KEB has drilled 18 production wells on leases currently held, including two 5-spot cluster wells and 2 horizontal wells and 41 exploration wells using company owned equipment.” I suppose you are going to tell me they are lying or just made this up ?! Hold that thought - it will keep for a bunch of months I expect. But if they have drilled 18 production wells - 18 production wells including two 5-spots cluster - then much of what Tlou has been claiming these past 2 years is surely challenged by this. False prophet Tidd keeps claiming Sekaname are 3-5 years behind coz they don’t have EIA or Ml. Hmmm, surely if these wells are drilled and if there is gas flow data, then some part of the Environmental studies are already done. Sorry lads, but the layers are being peeled back from the Tlou onion and tell you what - it’s not getting prettier as we keep removing layers of make up ! | donkey40
17/9/2018 20:01 | Here is the real elephant in the room: Wonderful safari destination; Almost corruption free; Easy place to do business; Do you guys believe everything you are spoon fed. Khama faction v Masisi faction - which side do you believe? | donkey40
17/9/2018 18:10 | No response on WIF bet re. Vertical vs lateral wells Donkey? You love not mentioning things when it suits you don't you pal?! | mgellie
17/9/2018 17:17 | Tlou Energy gearing up for October drilling2018-09-17 07:51:00The Lesedi project's first coalbed methane pilot production well is due to be drilled next month? The final pieces of equipment needed for the project are presently awaited Tlou Energy Ltd (LON:TLOU) has updated on its operations at the Lesedi coalbed methane project, where it is gearing up for a well in October. The company, in a statement, confirmed that the well locations have been agreed, scouted and inspected.READ: Closing date extended for CBM power proposalSite preparation is now underway for what will be the first pilot production well, and, it is presently awaiting the delivery of all equipment needed prior to spudding the well.Tlou highlighted that the wells are planned to be drilled as 'dual lateral pods' comprising a vertical production well, intersected by two lateral wells (drilled through gassy coal seams) whereby the gas will be extracted via the vertical bore. The gas would then be gathered for power generation purposes.City broker eagerly awaiting well drill results"If successful, the new wells will form part of Tlou's initial gas-to-power project, which will include the installation of transmission lines and grid connection," said Shore Capital analyst Craig Howie."With an initial (and very scalable) development of up to 10MW planned, we therefore eagerly look forward to results from the forthcoming drilling programme.""Our fair value estimate stands at approximately 25p/share and, with a formal government re-tender process currently underway (in relation to which we believe that the company is superbly positioned) and a very active work programme in progress at Lesedi, we continue to see excellent scope for Tlou to become a leading Southern African-focused independent power producer."Tlou shares were up 2.8% to 6.1p in late afternoon trading in London.--Updates for broker comment and share price--WHY INVEST IN TLOU ENERGY LTD? 17/9/2018 14:36 | Khama trying to stitch up Masisi with the elephant poaching story last week. Masisi fighting back this weekend: So much for the illusion that Botswana was a corruption free, idyllic destination for a safari. Khama wants his mates to retain control of important Safari franchises, plus implication his family associates have been trying to broker deals by selling mining licences. The BCL debacle is starting to play out now; Kagosi increasingly likely to be called to account over missing NPF funds and bogus payments for defence contracts to Israel. Like I said last week, this will get much worse for remainder of 2018, before one or other wins out. I suspect BDP is bigger than Khama - but how much damage or havoc is he prepared to unleash. Certainly his brother’s bid for eventual VP is increasingly dead in the water. | donkey40
17/9/2018 12:07 | Pilot production well locations have been agreed, scoured and inspected. Jeez almighty - so they got an ordinance survey map, jumped in the Jeep and went for a drive... And stuck a stake in the ground .... | donkey40
17/9/2018 11:15 | Donkey you repeat yourself over and over while complaining at the company and other posters for pointless info etc. Look inwards | satsuma1
17/9/2018 07:38 | Jeez the idiots have been let out of the looney farm for an hour. Nothing new particularly. Do they really need an announcement to tell us they are ‘pre-mobilisat Usual disingenuous bluff about CNG and LNG small scale projects just waiting to be executed. Well if they are so close, and RFP is taking so long, why don’t they just get on an deliver one or other of them. Tlou have never been slow to name drop in the past, so why not name these new parties approaching them for these small projects?! For the record, there is nothing small scale about LNG projects that I have ever seen. Nothing has changed, the RFP is the fastest and first route to market. All else is disingenuous attempts to make increasingly disgruntled and skeptical shareholders think otherwise. All these projects require gas as feedstock and Tlou doesn’t have much of this proven as yet. Serowe has been mentioned as the location of choice to connect to the grid; they are still talking about this. They are still talking about just about everything. That sadly is Botswana for you .... | donkey40
