I guess the question is what is the freehold property (there is quite a bit of land as well) valued at?
I know that Rockwood thought it to be significantly undervalued and wanted a revaluation done. Not sure whether that went ahead or not. So we don't know if that net asset figure is conservative or not (i suspect it probably is).

Pug, if I recall correctly they're a bit old fashioned, in that they have a mortgage-free freehold premises.

I believe this is underpins their assets.

It will be interesting to see if the new boss adds to her 12k holding in the coming months.

According to the accounts net assets seem to be 143p per share. Is this correct?
"Strong balance sheet maintained at the period end with net cash, no debt, net assets of GBP16.0 million at 30 September 2022 (2021: GBP16.8m) and net current assets of GBP7.9 million (2021: GBP9.3m)."

And from ADVFN financials number of shares 11.22m

Is this correct?

Interesting offer just jumped to 75p from 65p - Market short of stock?

Took my first nibble buying back in to this yesterday. Looking to rebuild a position as/if the turnaround progresses.

I see it being taken out by someone like Alumansc, there will be synergies there and they now have their house in order.

Hmm, look like words of hope rather than expectation about future recovery. Sit on hands time I guess.

Well, revenue only down -5.7% to £22.1m.
Plus outlook statement reasonably positive so i think im quite happy with that.

Needs taking over imho. Have said before that ALU would be a possible good fit and strip out duplicate costs.

I think I bought in late nineties and sold at 140 in 2004

Floated at just over £1.50 so its half that now but one consolation is that the share price has been much lower, half of what it is now on a couple of occasions in the past.

Well you might even have sold for £2 30yrs ago - hate to think what that price would be compounded to now!
Actually just checked, the compounded CPI rate is surprisingly only 220%, so about £4.40
That makes me feel better.

Am I dreaming - I think I sold at 140 about 20 years ago?

3 yrs ago Korea was the biggest profit contributor and I guess it is difficult to say goodbye to that, especially if they cannot get a good price. Bit like me hopefully hanging on to what was once a 3 bagger on paper...

I'm surprised the share price has not dropped further, there is little but bad news in that update. I don't think we are at rock bottom.
Mind you the share price is only based on two trades today.
Was tempted to sell and buy back later, but with an apparent spread of 5p it is not worth it.

seems that the Korean business has been neglected and allowed to fall behind the competition and radical surgery is now the only option.

Korean division proving to be problematic.

Cash down to £1.7m. Still loss-making for H1. (Dont think we will be getting a final dividend then!)

They've clearly hit rock-bottom here but hopefully the only way is up especially with the support of its new shareholders.
