06/5/2005 11:56 | With a market cap of only £4.8m and £6.0m in cash the shares are already worth 25% more than the current share price and the assets(worth about 100% of the current share price)you get for FREE! It's incredible how this is overlooked. It's a challenge to find a better value for money stock. If you know one post it here. | kombimatec

23/4/2005 19:49 | He's always got a good eye for a bargain. I wonder where Brucey gets all his cash from - he always seems to invest more than he sells! | ![]() topvest

15/4/2005 17:30 | Wasn't Bruce Rowan clever selling cbm when in the 200's now 161. There was much critism on this bb. He seems to have judged the sale to perfection. Luckily the asset value is now 4.41p. Great result. The major factor in cbm's share price fall seems to be aen profit taking by institutions well aware of the coming difficulties of moving to production and selling. China seems to be coming off the boil too. Possibly reducing markets. Possibility of Bangladesh forbidding exports (Daily Mail report). Personally I cannot believe this will happen. Hopefully Mr. Rowan will invest the cbm money well. On his track record I am hopeful. LT hold IMHO. However the resourses shares seem to have hit buffers. Down about 30% on my small port but hanging in there. Still showing plus from last year. Bad March and April so far, but tir holding up well. | firkin
11/4/2005 14:47 | Well comdirect will only sell you 75K but will take 1mil off your hands! No doubt Rowan would do the same lol! | ![]() kael
11/4/2005 14:36 | Very nice, IMO. And price just inkling up off base of uptrend... | ![]() mikehardman
11/4/2005 14:36 | Well, Rowan has marked the floor (which just happens to also be the lower trend line) with his buy, interestingly over last week there were two other 1million buys at 2.3p. making 3mil in total. All in all TIR is loooking very stable, just buy the lower trendline and you cant go wrong in the long run! | ![]() kael
11/4/2005 14:32 | So a 6.5% rise in NAV last quarter. I can live with that. | ![]() buffin
