21/2/2005 19:35 | pparkin405, From your post 143 I assume you think that there will be something of interest in the results, Surely the results will simply be a restatement of what Wolstencroft calculated as the NAV at the start of last month. I would have thought that far more important would be the nav report at the end of March. I put a post on the other thread which elicited no response except from the company when the said they would report any dealings that represented more than 20% of the potfolio. I have today e-mailed the company on the other issues I raise and will pass on anything that I get. Ian. | ![]() old giggleswickian

17/2/2005 22:02 | Contrary to what some folk have posted on the CBM board, Tiger have not sold all of it's Cambrian shares; just the warrants and options for an impressive profit. Good to see that the Cambrian share price has recovered today, which will continue to underpin Tigers NAV. Commenting on the Cambrian sale, Bruce Rowan, Chairman and investment director said that "he was very pleased with Cambrian's performance and with the profits that Tiger has realised with this investment in Cambrian". It will be interesting to see what Rowan intends to with the proceeds from the sale; has anybody contacted the Company to find out? | hamlette

16/2/2005 20:47 | Slightly off topic but keep an eye on Uranium Resources PLC being floated on Friday . 205m shares and Mr bruce Rowan has an interest in 24.5m .They could fly on his reputation alone.DYOR etc | ![]() abubryn
16/2/2005 20:47 | MM are not making the money today, but will be when they start to sell the ones they bought today when the price goes back up as I am sure it will. Asset value last December 4.14p, and the last buy today was at just 2.50p. Was the thread called mining shares at a 50% discount. It was the 250k sell that shook the price today. Another biggest sell tomorrow could keep the price low enough to buy more. | ![]() guru11

16/2/2005 09:29 | Value 5p+ per share, excellent and astute holdings and much of the 5p per share in cash! Current share price way too cheap - due another major push forward imo | pkw

15/2/2005 22:23 | Probably one of the best of the top movers on fundamentals today. Asset value 4.14p share price offer 3p. Still good value. | ![]() guru11
15/2/2005 21:45 | A good move by TIR. It's always good to make a £2m profit on warrants you got for £nil. A profit not taken, is a missed opportunity in today's mining sector imo. Do they still hold the shares? | ![]() topvest
15/2/2005 21:35 | 9M BLO shares bought at 2p in Oct 2004. Nice work TIR! | kipper85 |
