Obtainind debt is difficult in these markets as seen with BOOTS

Even Candy billionaires would have trouble of obtaining debt of over 2 billion or more for THG.

Clearly they have been dropped and development paused. Let's hope it's back on track soonM/cap £1B = IPO raiseRevenue up 100%£500M cash in bankWhat an opportunity to accumulate!!!!

Sadly MM is the only shareholder that counts as long as he holds that golden share!

'Rumour is Candy bid was 230p+ ...' ?

In that case, Mr C can have mine for the knock-down price of 200p (+ a cup of tea with Mrs C).

Rumour is Candy bid was 230p+ but fuelled by debt so MM might lose control even if he retained shareholding - Not a pricing issue one more bid to go.
But he stopped it.
Sounds plausible.
Let’s hope he is out now trying to find a similar cash buyer.
We can only hope.

£1.70-£2 is just noise to Moulding. share price 75p he's not bothered as he's looking at the bigger picture. We have to wait to be rewarded here as he's not giving away a company he built over 18 years. You will all be rewarded you just need patience. He is solely focused on delivering his goals & not the short term share price It went a bit unnoticed that when he announced THG rejected the offers he also said (see below) we are on target to achieve 20-25% growth target set for 2022. That is pretty amazing in this environment & takes us to £2.7Bil Rev with Market cap £945Mil! He knows it won't be 75p for long so just cracking on with strategy plan & Seperation. Totally agree we all need more information on exactly what the strategy plan Seperation actually is!!!!! One of the reasons share price is where it is.. IMO'While THG is clearly aware of the macro-economic challenges, the Company continues to perform well, and in line with its own expectations.'

Big gap in market , IGR also supply its products to ASDA , LIDL etc along with own retail sales , always good with shareholders , paying dividend etc. my opinion it's cheap entry against its huge sales of 963 millions , I have sold Thg but if directors start buying & give me confidence I will buy , I think it will drop meantime , could be below 60p , just opinion no hard feelings

True, and it may go down on 28th but hopefully results already transmitted and as long as they match what recently said, who knows, and hey, dropping 30% on day of results isn't unheard of.
I was happy to buy some based upon where I hope they will return to in a few years, but timing is hard.
I did ŕead in the RNS that results also look extra disappointing as they bought a load of stock upfront to cover upcoming season?

"The Group closed the year with a net cash balance of $30 million, down year on year reflecting inventory-related working capital absorption. This relates to the Group's response to continuing supply chain challenges, which have required raw material purchases to be brought forward to support the strong seasonal orderbook and the inflationary impact on the cost of inventory."

No more off topic from me ;)

HHH1. Re IGR results are out on the 28th of June there. Is it not worth waiting and seeing how things are there !!
The divi has been stopped. Big turnover on fancy goods, what is the market going to be like under recession and inflation times for their sales ??
Yes Blackhorse3 has been pumping the IGR story on 20+ BB's.
Apologies re O/T.
GLA with THG.

Not that I know anything, I buy duffers as well as good'uns, but IGR current price (68p) would have to up 10x to get to where they did an oversubscribed discounted share issue (at 693p? - share price was approx 795p at the time) in Jan 2020 in order to get some cash to buy another company and expand more in the USA, but recent disappointing news about profits has decimated the share price, worth a look at, buy hey, I know noooothing

I like the picture you are selling although I have doubts about it’s authenticity?
If true the share price should recover very quickly although not seeing it yet?
But it’s early and L2 book now improving.
78% of today’s high volume traded outside the London Stock Exchange.
3m traded in first hour even though US closed today.
Recovery so far very slight and fragile.

Directors could be in a closed period as they are dealing with price-sensitive news so they can not buy. Another deal coming soon IMO. They rejected 170p for a reason. This will rise quickly from here being so oversold. Buy
