Toansy..don't bother with the slags. Who gives a monkeys hoot about Ebitda, revenue, sales, foreplay, double penetration, shag!
Just show them the Ebitda, revenue, foreplay in your account. Show them the account that matters..show them my account..I'll show them Ebitda, revenue and foreplay. Its the only account that matters and they know it..

Nearly got tempted to let go of a few late on today cos my nob developed an itch..but I resisted.

You absolutely idiot. Ebitdas has nothing to do with capex. It's a proxy for trading cashflow but not 100% perfect. Just google it for christs sake.

The funds flow statement shows cash flow in iits entirety and reconciles the profit and loss to cashflow with the first adjustments being the non profit and loss cashflow items such as depreciation followed by working capital movements

But hey you know best don't you. Of the 100 years of the institute of chartered accountants developing these measures you know better than all of them or maybe just maybe there is an outside chance your a total deluded idiot.

You described adjusted EBITDA as underlying profit and it is not.

As I said before EBITDA is not a good proxy for cashflow as there are
other elements related to cashflow such as capital expenditure, working capital,
acquisitions etc. With a company like this you have to consider these aspects
as they are quite active in these areas.



As for my comment today, all we are arguing about is IMHO I'll be surprised if someone is going to give you more than £2 AT THIS POINT OF TIME, ie if they will give you the cake (something above £2) for future growth etc. then good for everyone.

Bigt - carry on looking at the statements (read everything by the way).

You are so detached from reality, just like the THG shareprice. However THG share price is on the cusp of an EPIC rerate!

You just need to use logic and common sense, it's the most obvious multibagger buy on the main market right now!

How can a business be worth £4 Billion in 2018, grow x4, then only be worth 1/3 of the value! Make it make sense! Absolutely none of the paid derampers have ever addressed that? Lol

I recon should be 3 x revenue using old fashion methods about £5.40 but based on Fibonacci and amount of cash looking for growth stories circa £11 a share.
