I would expect a premium in the closing auction. The hedge funds must surely have started to close their shorts now with todays rise added to hopes of an end in sight for the war, results imminent and the strong possibilty of corporate action soon. No wonder IG Index is now showing 99 per cent buys on its website and only 1 per cent of clients now short. Lovely day.

Something definitely afoot here in my opinion. It was back in January I think when Betaville reported about the PE guys coming out of the head office at Manchester Airport. How long does it take to sort a deal out....hmmm
