So many people holding THG at a loss, refusing to sell and stating they will hold for years if necessary.
More likely than not they would all sell, immediately, if the share ever got back to where they could get out at parity.

PE is the worst that can happen right now but it won't happen right now. Simple reason. Investors won't sell at the price the PEs will buy. With that clown of a CEO, anything is possible. He can sell out PIs for a few injections of Botox.

I am not sure what the usual timeframes are from rumour to news are?
But not a couple of days, more like weeks? Who knows?
Am just sitting on my hands until then.

Aren't we supposed to "buy on rumour, sell on fact"?
Looks like the market isn't doing this so the PE rumours aren't being taken seriously.
That or the bids aren't expected to be very high.

Right this second 149p seems a distant dream.
Really not sure why Mr Market has dismissed the prospects of going private?

After closing above 136p yesterday, can't see much resistance until 149p and 167p areas.
Still at crazy low price area even then, should be a few quid.
Chug, Chug! :)

The company is in a much much better position than it was 4 years ago when a 4 billion bid was rejected and that is down to MM and his guidance. The share price is crazy and out of his control.

From LSEL'Oréal results and great Ft headlineWed 20:34Just read the FT article about L'Oréal results where the ceo says there is an 'infinite appetite for beauty products..' this is the headline in the FT article. Really worth a read. Seems on about 7x sales. The more I read about the HUT the more confident I am about it and it's prospects.Decent rally in Ocado today - back towards £10bn mkt cap with £2.5m sales - HUT £2.5bn + sales next year but £1.7bn mkt cap !!Been buying more today - thought the share price consolidated nicely and steady and nicely built end of day. Volume down which is good and the whole thing tightening up.

US good sector DayWednesday's gains were highlighted by some of the same stocks that outperformed during the pandemic lockdowns in 2020. E-commerce stock Shopify gained more than 5%, while Etsy gained 3.8%.

You could also argue that Mouldings 'Special' relationship with THG has been instrumental to its monumental success!
