Perhaps a name change may help sentiment and distance the Company from association with previous crooked Directors and Tipsters?

I saw some time ago that one of Dean's companies was listing on the US market, never heard any more though, I was tempted at the time to send the SEC a potted history of his dealings. V.

steve,

I endorse the comments above about the role the FD must have played in the Dean days in facilitating (I must presume knowingly) the artificial transactions that put Arts finances in the deep mess it was in. My view was that the Fd should have been fired by Stevens and the new board without compensation at once. If Art were domiciled in the US both Dean and Muselle would be serving long prison sentences, and deservedly so.

SLL, you have been ramping this piece of cr@p for months. I suggest you eat humble pie and 'dis-engage' with ART, not advfn!

Thanks folks, in view of all your comments - I will dis-engage here and take up all valid & current points directly with Chris Musselle and Michael Stevens.

Deano allegedly surrounded himself with either weak or crooked individuals(MWM) to both manipulate share prices or move sums of money........... just like another crooked bully Robert Maxwell.Sadly many of those connected to him carry that burden on.

steve.............you can't be serious ref the Molasc (whom I know and respect)He was the guy that put thru the book entries whilst dean shafted the company senseless and did NOT blow the whistle, not once!

regarding the board..............it seems that the city have their own views and it appears to be a big thumbs down............IMHO

CC - All my comments and inputs on this thread have been made in good faith and for the benefit of others. In that vein, I simply can't accept the thrust of your comment above re Chris Musselle (whom I know and respect) and I would ask you to therefore delete it. If you have a problem with Chris, or any of the board at ART, I suggest you take it up directly with him/them through the appropriate channel, or (even) consider attending (eg) the next AGM and making your views known. I for one welcome this (admittedly modest) top-up by a senior director of the firm. Rememeber - Directors can rarely sell shares in a situation like this. sincerely, steve

I hope the bullish holders are right.

I was but now have to conclude that today was the preamble to a full profit warning.

Now where would that warning take us? Break even, £1m or better.

Working on the assumption that it is the above I cannot see these better than 3p bid for a long time and may drift back to 2.5 on the offer.

Not a good day although I hold only 180,000 and many I appreciate hold much more.

The Crow.

how many of the more hysterical posters above actually attended the AGM today and spoke to all the directors? well I did, and (in my view) the mark down post announcement is something of an over-reaction which has produced an unexpected buying opportunity rather than a selling one. I personally won't be selling a single share (may buy more) and won't be drawn further until post-interims at the earliest. steve (p.s. I did impress on all concerned the absolute need to not over-pay for any acquisition, and they will be held to that).

Hi -

A leading t1ps sheet says that many have sold prematurely today. Also the new CEO and the other board appointments auger well for the future. Their stance "HOLD".
