19/3/2024 08:29 | Peter, Tethys are spending millions on building the infrastructure to not only restart production but to expand it whilst negotiations are ongoing for exports. Surely you must agree that amounts to more than crossing our fingers and hoping for the best. The gas compressors alone cost 5million dollars. You wouldn't be paying that sort of money if you wasn't confident of a production license. | ![]() tankerton
19/3/2024 08:18 | Tankerton, Yes I agree, there does seem to be some very positive traction. But nothing as yet confirmed. We are still on the runway with our fingers crossed unfortunately. | ![]() 1399peter
19/3/2024 08:13 | Peter, yes I agree that frustration is taking it's toll here but I don't think that it is warranted at the present time when there is clear evidence of so much going on in the background to reduvinat this company and set it on a course for growth. | ![]() tankerton
19/3/2024 07:52 | Tankerton, I really wouldn't worry too much about it. Some of us just need to Vent the frustration generated by the years of waiting for something to actually happen here. Hopefully this time, without any dramas and to plan. We'll see soon enough. | ![]() 1399peter
18/3/2024 21:33 | Dr3dd, I keep telling you this. The volatility is down to the matched bargain basis of the TSXV. Checked earlier and it was down 12%. Just checked now and it's up 10%. If you check out my link above you will see that Tethys are 32nd of the top best performing stocks on the TSXV with a gain of 0.42% over the last 90 days. That sounds like a bad performance but if shows just how badly the whole TSXV has been performing. | ![]() tankerton
17/3/2024 10:13 | Just an interesting read Totally unrelated to Tethys. Just thought I would post as I have mentioned Norway's wealth before and how Kaz should be in a similar position as should the UK. | ![]() 1399peter
15/3/2024 22:33 | Dr3dd, That's the nature of the TSXV. Matched trades and no market makers. What you are witnessing is the very reason we need a proper exchange. | ![]() tankerton
15/3/2024 18:25 | Peter, I don't think the NYSE is a first line priority at the present time. I do believe it will happen but only after Tethys have been beefed up. In effect I don't expect it until after Tethys do a deal with KMG to access their pipelines to world markets. | ![]() tankerton
15/3/2024 18:13 | We probably won't find out about a decision to list until this time next year anyways. You have to constantly remind yourself that literally everything in Kaz takes a ball achingly long time. | ![]() 1399peter
15/3/2024 14:33 | Having said that, there are other reasons why a company would issue more shares other than the need to raise cash, like for instance providing a free float on a new market. Sounds like a question for Bill on their next conference call. | ![]() tankerton
15/3/2024 14:25 | Post production license, I don't think they need to raise extra cash as cash flow will be strong on ramped up production in their aim to achieve the 6000bpd needed for the export license. Then if they get access to international markets then revenues will be ramped up again. While cash may be constrained at the moment, I don't see it being an issue as production gets ramped up. | ![]() tankerton
15/3/2024 14:25 | I kind of figured they might need to issue more shares if listing on the nyse, if they could make it favourable to all I would be amazed. The yanks always love a big discount. And the institutions will want a piece of the pie if Tethys offers multi bag opportunity. Imo | ![]() 1399peter
15/3/2024 13:51 | My thoughts were that they would be new shares say 5 to 10%. With the receipts used to maximise output to achieve the best trade price. Alternatively pay a dividend to the original shareholders pre NYSE listing. Tankerton "Can't see an issue of new shares as that would dilute the main shareholders." As long as it was understood at the time of the auction that the money raised would add to their investment by way of Company value or would not in the case of a dividend , new investors would be able to judge their bids. | ![]() bahamasoil
15/3/2024 13:23 | Can't see an issue of new shares as that would dilute the main shareholders. While I still see Tethys as a sitting duck for a takeover, I do feel that we will see some strong growth first once we get the production license. | ![]() tankerton
15/3/2024 12:54 | bahamas just to clarify. Do you mean offering 5 to 10m of the shares held by pope and others or do you mean new issue. | ![]() 1399peter
15/3/2024 12:47 | Trying to find out the best way of gaining a NYSE listing for current shareholders. On the assumption that the main shareholders have moved on from accumulating shares to gain control and are now of one mind to maximise returns by way of a trade sale on the NYSE. Is it possible to gain a NYSE listing by issuing a 5-10% open offer to outside retail shareholders by way of an auction with the proceeds put into reserves for future output increases or share buybacks? | ![]() bahamasoil |
