15/3/2024 18:13 | We probably won't find out about a decision to list until this time next year anyways. You have to constantly remind yourself that literally everything in Kaz takes a ball achingly long time. | 1399peter
15/3/2024 14:33 | Having said that, there are other reasons why a company would issue more shares other than the need to raise cash, like for instance providing a free float on a new market. Sounds like a question for Bill on their next conference call. | tankerton
15/3/2024 14:25 | Post production license, I don't think they need to raise extra cash as cash flow will be strong on ramped up production in their aim to achieve the 6000bpd needed for the export license. Then if they get access to international markets then revenues will be ramped up again. While cash may be constrained at the moment, I don't see it being an issue as production gets ramped up. | tankerton
15/3/2024 14:25 | I kind of figured they might need to issue more shares if listing on the nyse, if they could make it favourable to all I would be amazed. The yanks always love a big discount. And the institutions will want a piece of the pie if Tethys offers multi bag opportunity. Imo | 1399peter
15/3/2024 13:51 | My thoughts were that they would be new shares say 5 to 10%. With the receipts used to maximise output to achieve the best trade price. Alternatively pay a dividend to the original shareholders pre NYSE listing. Tankerton "Can't see an issue of new shares as that would dilute the main shareholders." As long as it was understood at the time of the auction that the money raised would add to their investment by way of Company value or would not in the case of a dividend , new investors would be able to judge their bids. | bahamasoil
15/3/2024 13:23 | Can't see an issue of new shares as that would dilute the main shareholders. While I still see Tethys as a sitting duck for a takeover, I do feel that we will see some strong growth first once we get the production license. | tankerton
15/3/2024 12:54 | bahamas just to clarify. Do you mean offering 5 to 10m of the shares held by pope and others or do you mean new issue. | 1399peter
15/3/2024 12:47 | Trying to find out the best way of gaining a NYSE listing for current shareholders. On the assumption that the main shareholders have moved on from accumulating shares to gain control and are now of one mind to maximise returns by way of a trade sale on the NYSE. Is it possible to gain a NYSE listing by issuing a 5-10% open offer to outside retail shareholders by way of an auction with the proceeds put into reserves for future output increases or share buybacks? | bahamasoil
15/3/2024 07:38 | Dr3dd, You are demonstrating why we need to get off this exchange. Mr anonymous only made one sell yesterday but because of there being no buys they were able to knock the price. The day before Mr anonymous made multiple sales with the same effect. Tethys is listed as one of the most volatile companies on the Canadian market at the moment and that is all down to the market that it's on. The near term game changing news created strong buying and a huge rise in the SP, followed by profit taking leading to huge swings in the price and now we've had Mr anonymous being a sole seller and knocking the price. News will see further huge gains but what we really need is to get off this market because an illiquid stock on a matched bargain market is ripe for manipulation. | tankerton
14/3/2024 15:17 | cutliff2, I think everyone here is aware of Tethys history, the question is whether things have changed or not. We can all accommodate some slippage but April would seem to be the defining month. | tankerton
14/3/2024 09:03 | Dr3dd. You need to be thinking of April onwards, not day to day. | tankerton
13/3/2024 22:33 | Up tomorrow then. | dr3dd
13/3/2024 16:11 | Roll-on April. Hopefully we will get some news by then and not the usual Tethys drama that drags on forever. | 1399peter
13/3/2024 16:09 | Nice to see normal trading again! Meanwhile the board are very quiet as usual. | dr3dd
13/3/2024 11:26 | Yep, you could have bought Bitcoin for 3p back in 2010. But hey ho! Clearly I didn't. No point worrying about that now. We need to see this 100 bag from here, 😂 | 1399peter
13/3/2024 11:20 | Lucky for me most of my money is in Bitcoin right now, the one chance we have had to front run the big boys! In fact if we don't get an Tethys news I may have to sell my TPL and go all in on BTC! | ratfan
13/3/2024 10:19 | It could be worse folks, you could have put all of your hard earned money into Bitcoin | dr3dd
13/3/2024 08:17 | Peter, Yes, that's exactly right. It's called being on the inside. The masses unfortunately are always on the outside. Sad but we won't go down that road. | tankerton |
