18/4/2024 16:28 | Surely they should have to put out an RNS to explain a change of major shareholder? | ![]() ratfan
18/4/2024 16:09 | Peter, maybe not but the mighty Gazprom showing an interest in the minoe Tethys is very significant indeed. | ![]() tankerton
18/4/2024 16:06 | I remember Russian oiler declaring that they had achieved the deepest drill ever north of the Tethys site. The first well was dry and they never declared the second well. It is only a vague memory now. | ![]() bahamasoil
18/4/2024 16:04 | As long as they behave themselves. I don't know many oil&gas companies that have found it easy working with the Russians. | ![]() 1399peter
18/4/2024 15:54 | Bahamas, Kazakhstan is not subject to Russian sanctions. I did read an article a few weeks ago now that said Russia was trying to circumvent sanctions by investing in Kazakhstan oil and gas projects. We will see but it certainly adds interest. | ![]() tankerton
18/4/2024 15:49 | Not sure if I'm remembering right but wasn't there Russian interest in Tethys before the Chinese interest that the Kazak government kicked into touch because they were fearful of too much Chinese influence. | ![]() tankerton
18/4/2024 15:46 | Would the share holding be frozen and subject to sanctions? | ![]() bahamasoil
18/4/2024 15:42 | Tankerton, Yes I think so to. They could have easily of had a couple of million on the quiet for years. I expect we will see the minutes approved anytime now. | ![]() 1399peter
18/4/2024 15:35 | Peter, the Gazexport holding is slightly bigger than the one Olisol had but I would say that it's a good bet that this is where Olisols shares have ended up. | ![]() tankerton
18/4/2024 15:28 | So did gazexport take Olisol shares or am I imagining that | ![]() 1399peter
18/4/2024 15:16 | I just had a quick search and Gazexport Limited are a wholly owned subsidiary of Gazprom, handling their gas export contracts. If this is indeed the case then this is about to get really interesting. | ![]() tankerton
18/4/2024 12:55 | Gazprom has something to do with Gazexport Limited. | ![]() dr3dd
18/4/2024 05:48 | Yes it's quite unbelievable when you look at how long this has all taken. It's a shame the board didn't have the foresight to extend the conditions of agreement on Olisol. As I certainly feel it would be these plebs holding up the approval of the minutes. | ![]() 1399peter
17/4/2024 06:39 | Makes you wonder what the disagreement is about. Sale, JV or having to give up a percentage of their holding for a float in the US. Probably none of the above and just greed. I'm getting bored now and seeing things that aren't there 😂. Although it would be great if it was the last one. | ![]() 1399peter
17/4/2024 05:48 | I believe those conditions on Olisol only lasted 2yrs. So I'm assuming that time has passed. | ![]() 1399peter
16/4/2024 19:46 | Mind you the next news could be the announcement of another meeting because they can't approve the minutes of the last one. Jeezzz, on and on it goes. I'd like to know who and what is causing the delay. Perhaps Olisol is at it again. I seem to remember a condition imposed upon them whereby they had to agree with all board decisions. Has someone removed those shares from Olisol due to a disagreement with a board decisions. Pure speculation of course. But seems an odd coincidence that the minutes are clearly not being approved and the disappearance of their holding. | ![]() 1399peter |
