I agree Tankerton but I think the first stage is most critical as it rubber stamps intention and licence.
The other 2 stages can take their time so to speak

The two weeks was for protocols on the field development plan which was the first and most critical stage of 3 stages prior to a production license being granted.
It has to be said though that if they intend to restart production by the beginning of April then there's going to be a lot of news coming out in the next few weeks.

Makes you wonder why they mentioned a couple of weeks for the licence when they were gonna let their pals fill their boots (again) at a good price before the announcement.

fingers crossed, the shenanigans are all behind us now. Just waiting for that starting pistol to fire and we-are-off. Fingers crossed no false starts this time around.

It will also transform the Kaz governments taxes that they will receive. It is a win win. I cant believe it has taken so long when everybody wins big!

Peter, as you say the drivers of growth can be quite clearly seen here. Even in the example you quote,the difference between the local and export price for oil will transform Tethys revenues.

Peter, the minimum figure needed for an export license is 6000bpd.

Those reserves figures will hopefully change for the better, once the new surveys are completed.

Can't remember what the minimum daily production requirement was for export license. But if you times that by export price per barrel, those annual gross sales figures will be more like monthly gross sales figures 😁

Also worth thinking about the future prospects and value of Tethys without an offer from anyone.

for instance if Tethys gains the necessary licenses and grows into a $1b, $2b or more company. With a 3 to 6% divi. That would be a nice bonus.

Obviously a stonking bid would be marvelous too.
