That's why I said that a bid will come in after Tethys get access to the KMG pipeline because of third party interest. The only scenario I can see for a bid before then is if it comes from KMG in the knowledge they will grant Tethys access as this access will transform the valuation of Tethys. A third party would only know the outcome of access talks after the event.

Yes exactly,who's to say where that bid will come from. Might wake KMG up a bit if it was a foreign company making an approach.

Peter, we know Tethys is talking to KMG about accessing it's pipelines to world markets and we know that KMG is looking to boost it's reserves. That's why I say that as soon as the KMG grants Tethys access then we can start talking about a takeover.

It could just be that the Kazak concert party have finally come to the conclusion that they cannot achieve full ownership of the company as they would like and that they have to work with Bill and the small shareholders in what would amount to a fresh start for the company. That could be because they want to grow the company for their own capital appreciation or they want to fatten the company up for a takeover. Either way it would seem that Tethys is now going for growth.

Peter, yes I think that is Tethys thinking as well. The fact that they would like to list on the biggest exchange in the world speaks volumes about their ambitions for the future.

I did put the question of a return to AIM to Bill on the conference call and his response was that everything was on the table but that the NYSE was his preference.
The fact is that any move to a main exchange will make it easier for UK investors to trade so the priority is to get off the TSXV.
One positive of note is the point that if Tethys believe they have a future on a mainline exchange like the NYSE then they are obviously confident about their potential going forward.

Although as Dr3dd says, it could also be a trading bot controlling the price. It is easier to do that on low volumes.
That's why the sooner we get off this tinpot market the better.
Things will be a lot different if and when Tethys move to the NYSE.
As always you have to distinguish between days when there is real trading and those when tiny trades are put through by the trading bots to maintain Tethys listing.

Interesting trade log Dr3dd, thanks. 5 lines from the bottom, TD securities, was both the buyer and seller. Same for next 2 lines above. How does that work? Are they selling and buying between clients? Not something I've ever noticed before. :)

Thanks for that explains it. I haven't got level 2, are these trades only visible there? I only see what is on advfn and I can only see 20500 for yesterday, all round numbers. Where is the best place to look for all trades if there is one that's free? GLA

4 trades within 1 min come to 1149.
500, 149, 200 and 300. All at 1.04.

Maybe the cited 1.07 was to do with ii charges, FX rates etc
