21/4/2018 18:09 | FYI The O/S amount on the Kazak Loan in KZT from RBK was $2.823m at end 2016 The additional loan in US$ amounted to $1.010 at end 2016. So no big deal here if oil production and new prices for oil can generate adequate oil revenues to meet the loan repayments and secure all the TAG pledged assets. | hguess16
21/4/2018 14:19 | Maybe best to not ask for news next time....or we just might get it....like we have now with the latest clanger. Anyone know what the order of the debt owed is? If all what they pledged was operational/infrastr | casual47
21/4/2018 10:13 | The thing is that the Board should know about ALL of the issues that are still about after trawling through the paperwork for the past four years or so. Its not rocket science! PROACTIVE RATHER THAN REACTIVE............ | temporarily insane
21/4/2018 09:31 | TI, Wells is well aware of my analysis of what, I perceive, is a lack of awareness of the local environment and its past experience of moving from one crisis to the next instead of using the local resources and experience of local partners more effectively. My understanding is that, from now on, local partners will be responsible and accountable to the Board for TAG operations and will "hand hold" Sam Barrows. I hope KZ operations will be subject to closer scrutiny by the Board from now on instead of reacting to events engineered by the " smart and deceptive " characters who seemed to have hoodwinked Tethys for so long !. I am still waiting to see the results ( compensation) of the costs and time spent taking Olisol to Court in Alberta !. Let us see how the Board performs in taking us out of this " bleeding mess " which has gone on for far too long !. | hguess16
20/4/2018 23:45 | Thanks for that TI, quite intriguing. The Tethys website is down again for me :/ It was up for a bit earlier today... I think the handle needs cranking again! Maybe I'm needy but I do need to see that banner 'Creating Shareholder Value'. One way to reminisce: | jpodtrading
20/4/2018 23:19 | Have that Roy1982, Tethys Petroleum Ltd.: Update on Kazakhstan Loan V.TPL | 1 hour ago Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands--(Newsfile Corp. - April 20, 2018) - Tethys Petroleum Limited (TSXV: TPL.H) ("Tethys" or the "Company") today announces that its Kazakhstan subsidiary, Tethys Aral Gas LLP ("TAG"), has received notification from Special Financial Company DSFK LLP ("DSFK") relating to a loan originally provided to Eurasia Gas Group LLP ("EGG") by Bank RBK JSC ("RBK") in 2012. Also in 2012, TAG pledged certain of its oil and gas assets as collateral for the RBK loan to EGG including gas pipelines, booster compressor stations and oil gathering facility. EGG was TAG's former oil customer and advanced certain funds to TAG. In December 2017, RBK's loan to EGG was assigned to DSFK. DSFK has written to EGG to demand repayment of the loan because of EGG's failure to make certain scheduled repayments. DSFK has written separately to TAG regarding EGG's default and subsequent failure to repay the loan and informed TAG that it will take all measures to collect the debt, including but not limited to court collateral collection on the pledged assets. TAG has yet to receive full information regarding the EGG debt and is evaluating the legal position in order to protect its pledged assets from possible court collateral collection actions by DSFK and ultimately to have the pledges released. 20/4/2018 19:23 | I actually got a response from Bill 15 mins after I sent the above to him! I asked him if I could post our dialog on here, I gave him the link. I'm waiting for his response. Suffice to say the company are still alive and sound like they're as frustrated as we are! As it's the weekend now we may not get a response until Monday. But I did offer to collate our questions and pass them on to him. So if you can make them concise I'm sure Bill would appreciate it. Obviously I can't guarantee he'll respond but I'm pretty chuffed he did in the first place! J | jpodtrading
20/4/2018 17:56 | As long as we get paid for a knickers down situation! ;p P.S. No reply from my email on the 7th. TI, I never did get around to re-sending it to Bill directly.. let me do that now! ---- Hi Bill, I'm a long standing investor in Tethys. After all that has happened to the company recently I find it quite disconcerting that you aren't keeping your shareholders informed about what's going on. In the past I accepted you may not be doing this for legal reasons, but now the bulk of that is out of the way. Why do you still not see fit to inform us of your activities? We are after all your employers. A little curtesy of a regular update would be hugely appreciated. It feels like you're announcing the bare minimum. And that is just not acceptable. Please have a thought for the people that pay your salaries. Thanks, Jamie ---- | jpodtrading
20/4/2018 15:17 | It's been up and down throughout the last few weeks, like the proverbial knickers. | casual47
20/4/2018 15:00 | No problem pollster, perhaps as ih_ is saying, it was down! Nothing would surprise me with these guys at present. | 1399peter
20/4/2018 14:30 | It had been down when he initially posted his comment. It is up now. They might get some sort of discount if they take their website down over 12 hrs a day. | ih_416583
20/4/2018 08:59 | 1399Peter Thanks - I had been hospitalised for a few days and when I got home there was nothing on the board and my bookmark would not load. I have now reloaded the website successfully. I can now resume my patient vigil in the hope that something will come good Thanks again Dave P | pollster
20/4/2018 02:47 | All up and running as far as I can tell, | 1399peter
19/4/2018 17:31 | WELL = THAT SEEMS TO HAVE HAD A DRAMATIC EFFECT AND THE TETHYS WEB SITE HAS GONE AWOL HAVE I MISSED THE LAST RITES?? IF SO THANKS AND GOODBYE TO ALL THOSE WHO CONTRIBUTED AND TRIED TO PUSH TPL TO SUCCESS ON ON TO THE NEXT SUCCESS | pollster
13/4/2018 07:28 | Bugzzy or Skripka( EGG/Olisol ) is back on the BB. I find his note about May and Oliver rather strange because it was Skripka who set up the low oil price contract at EGG which was overturned by the KZ Supreme Court. May has departed and Oliver has resigned although he is still an adviser at Tethys. We have yet to find out why May departed as CEO, but it is unlikely to do with " low oil prices" which were agreed between Skripka of EGG/Olisol prior to Ken May joining as CEO of Tethys. | hguess16
13/4/2018 06:43 | Ken May has been removed from the CEO position; the CFO has also been let go. Possibly, it happened because some undisclosed corruption links. It has been written much about low oil prices, maybe they were the ones who supported those low price sales? If so, they must bear a full legal responsibility. | bugzzy |
