14/3/2018 12:11 | Devonlad I know, such a shame to miss out on the recent cold snap & snow fall lol In fact, I'm only here for a couple of weeks as then knocking off one of my bucket lists in that I'm off to watch the Masters then playing golf around the US for a week :) | dorset64
14/3/2018 10:01 | Casual, Listing in Canada is a Robson legacy and it was followed by a listing on the LSE. Listing on an international, recognised exchange is vital in retaining and increasing private investors. Taking Tethys private now after all the hard work has been done by Wells and May is not sensible. The major shareholders are PAM and KZ based investors incl Olisol. IMO, Tethys has to continue to be listed on a recognised international exchange and develop its oil and gas operations in KZ in order to provide an opportunity for investors incl PI's to trade their shares in an open and free trading environment. Taking the company private now is not the solution for PAM or any of the PI's. | hguess16
14/3/2018 09:28 | Hguess, might as well delist completely from Canada and just be listed on Kaz then? All the subsidiaries already have Kaz executives. Going all Kaz they might as well go private because what is the point of being listed on a stock exchange? | casual47
14/3/2018 09:17 | As Tethys is primarily involved in KZ, and since Olisol has been neutralised, it makes sense to have a KZ based CEO now that Ken May has finally disposed of Olisol as a serious threat in KZ. It could also be an opportunity to look for a new CFO, perhaps based in KZ. | hguess16
14/3/2018 08:44 | It looks like the stress of the job as got to them or the Kumars have. | chestnuts
14/3/2018 08:25 | Tethys SEDAR announcements dated 12 March. Ken May CEO has stepped down. Tethys hopes to announce a KZ based CEO to replace him in the near future. Clive Oliver, CFO and Co Secretary, has resigned and will work with the company in an advisory basis to ensure an orderly transition. | hguess16
13/3/2018 23:07 | Should the resignations and delistings worry me? | armaanb
13/3/2018 21:47 | What the hell are this lot playing at???? Up tomorrow or the next day then! What a waste of time. | temporarily insane
13/3/2018 20:59 | I think we might be moving to the MICEX at this rate lol. | 1399peter
13/3/2018 17:11 | The timing of the resignations vs the pending delisting from TSX is interesting also. Either they resigned because it's bad news regarding moving on to TSX-V or they resigned to make a brokered deal with Olisol happen which could potentially mean that something which was obstructing the move to TSX-V will now be freed up? | casual47
13/3/2018 17:04 | M - the thought crossed my mind. If it will restore value to us private shareholders then I'm all for it. Though I could never trust anyone from Olisol so if this is what is going on then I hope they are not given too much of a hand in the company. Ideally Olisol would be ringfenced somehow so that any damage they might be able to do would be limited. | casual47
13/3/2018 16:42 | To have piloted the ship through such stormy waters and then quit just as things are looking up is odd. Which suggests to me that the removal of May & Oliver is the face-saving part of a deal with Olisol whereby all hostilities cease and the parties work together for the good of the shareholder (of which a major one is Olisol). Since no-one is named interim captain I suspect we won't have to wait long for the announcement of a new management team deemed acceptable by all parties. | menameismud
13/3/2018 11:41 | We may yet find out if our Kaz friends (the ones behind the original Kumars) are really our friends. Wouldn't be surprised if the new CEO would turn out to be another "Kumar". The question, as always, will be: When the game has fully played out, will us wee private shareholders be left with anything? Or is our goose about to be cooked? Wells, Pope et al will be fine, I'm sure. | casual47
13/3/2018 10:31 | Where are hguess16, Devonlad and Dorset64 to comment? | temporarily insane
13/3/2018 09:48 | Let's hope the news ahead isn't delisting. The subsidiaries in Kaz already have Kaz based executives. But I suppose if they have given up on being listed they might as well go all Kaz, especially as there haven't been any Western investors for years now, which is of course one of the main reasons to be a listed company: to attract investment. | casual47
