24/1/2018 18:13 | Peter, BP are now teamed up with Rosneft, the Russian state owned energy giant which stepped in and bought out the Russian Oligarchs. | hguess16
24/1/2018 17:47 | 1399Peter, I guess somebody has to get the oil and gas out and Tethys are doing that albeit in its early stages after that Robson crook mugged us off. | temporarily insane
24/1/2018 17:39 | TI, Obviously this is how you do business in Kaz, doesn't really encourage international investment. It's the legacy of the former soviet union and the business culture it generated and is the reason why the likes of BP pulled out of their partnership with the Russians all those years ago. | 1399peter
24/1/2018 15:56 | With regards to these two people acquiring shares in Tethys.....Have the management further diluted our shares or were they just buying some spare stock that was already part of Tethys allocating? | temporarily insane
24/1/2018 15:28 | Lets see what this new partnership brings, I'm beginning to wonder if Tethys isn't a bloody dating agency rather than an oil company LOL | 1399peter
24/1/2018 14:42 | Cheers TI That word "value" makes me laugh every time. Again! I think Dorset and casual make some fair points for the reasons why we need to hand out more shares | 1399peter
24/1/2018 12:18 | Hi anyone able to give me the ISIN/SEDOL for the holding. | neilyb675
24/1/2018 12:09 | Thanks Casual47. Well even 0.10 CAD will help to have some positive hope. I have some petions hence holding from while. So hope to get, may be, more than 0.10 CAD on chart unless timing is far longer. | sgodha
24/1/2018 11:50 | I'd be very happy with 0.10 CAD, which seems doable? TPL will soon have around 600 million shares in issue, and up to 1 billion shares if all warrants etc are taken up, so I don't think $1 will happen soon..... The July 2014 Edison research report put a RENAV of Tethys at $400 million, that was based on the Sinohan deal going through and at a time when the POO was above $100/bbl with nobody foreseeing peak oil and the threat of shale oil/gas or the macro-economical effects of sluggish growth, especially in China. $400 million once the new dudes pick up their shares would be 0.60-odd US cents. And that was the best case scenario.... | casual47
24/1/2018 10:53 | So what's the future holds in TPL for us? Stay and hold to see one day it may reach back to $1+ or take whatever profit and exit. Anyone? | sgodha
24/1/2018 10:52 | Regarding NEX on the Canadian side | temporarily insane
24/1/2018 10:42 | Should they list on NEX does that mean we can trade the share on the UK NEX? | casual47
24/1/2018 10:23 | News out: TPL delisting from TSX, applying for either TSX-V or NEX | casual47
24/1/2018 10:04 | A cynical/world-weary person might look at this placing-by-another name and see it is raising only peanuts in exchange for large chunks of equity and think to themselves that perhaps this isn't about raising money at all but merely the greasing of palms so that Tethys can sail smoothly ahead. That same person might look at the previous deal they did with the Kumars and conclude the same happened there. I wouldn't think any of that of course but were it the truth then seeing the pickle TPL is in and Kaz being one of the most corrupt countries in the world then perhaps that wouldn't be such a bad thing....perhaps. For sure, if TPL were a 'normal' company operating in a 'normal' country then most investors would not look at this RNS and think to themselves "wow, great news" | casual47
24/1/2018 08:50 | I agree with you hguess16. Also nothing to lose from here as this is deepest position. So hope to get paid of for last two years holdings and turbulent journey. | sgodha |
