24/2/2018 19:48 | Menameismud, Well said !. I concur. Perhaps it is time to call a halt to further dilution now that Olisol has been put to bed and diluted to prevent them wielding any firm of influence over Tethys. I hope Tethys Mgt look to more innovative ways to raise cash incl asset based finance using its proven reserves now that Olisol has no claim on any Tethys assets. The export of Tethys output could be handled via a local intermediary who already has an export licence until Tethys increases its output to qualify for its licence. Tethys needs cash to pay off its short term debt of over $30m and drill more gas and oil wells. It can do this using a more innovative financing strategy to generate cash now. The proven assets are there below ground and the Tethys " turtle eggs" need to be safely hatched and the rewards could be given to the legitimate shareholders finally. | hguess16
24/2/2018 19:12 | menameismud, thank you for your comment. | temporarily insane
24/2/2018 17:54 | I guess we all need to be execute board of TPL as even we understand and know what TPL should be doing to stay above the water. But looks like they kind of likes the underwater like for some reason. I guess I would never figure that out. | sgodha
24/2/2018 17:50 | TI I suspect you are just seeing "algorithmic" execution, where orders are cut into small pieces to guarantee the vwap or some other parameter. Plus low-priced stocks on TSX, because the price trades in multiples of 0.5cts, are subject to automated "penny-flipping". I don't see whose interest it would be in to keep the price low; if it justified a higher price someone would start buying until it rose. The reason they don't is that TPL is still in a precarious financial position, and has a ton of warrants outstanding at prices not far above where we are. Serious buying could emerge if TPL can achieve export pricing, and thereby the cashflow to start paying down some of the debt. That is where the management focus needs to be, once the Olisol dust-up is resolved. | menameismud
24/2/2018 09:38 | Indeed, and it could go on for a while yet. How F'ing tedious it is trying to do business in these places. | 1399peter
23/2/2018 21:08 | See what I mean.............Org | temporarily insane
23/2/2018 15:50 | It must have been the news of "nothing happening today" that has caused people to buy!!!! Albeit the best news in the past 2 years for Tethys created....nothing!! ....And the obligatory huge sell??? of 1000 to drop the share price back to nothing (its not as if its been going on for a few years) | temporarily insane
22/2/2018 22:05 | Exactly! Another year of manipulated sod all to look forward to then unless the management feel like making some positive noises that create more than the suspiciously manipulated valuation of .02CAD...... A big positive is that it is heading in the right direction based upon the News releases. At least thats something. | temporarily insane
22/2/2018 21:51 | TI, when the supply contract with olisol ends! | devonlad
22/2/2018 19:06 | TI Hopefully now that Tethys have the supreme court ruling the rest of the legal stuff might be a bit easier and dare I say quicker. Obviously I have no idea if Tethys intend continuing actions against Olisol for damages or if they plan on getting the shares back or cancelling them. But if they are going to take that route, I seriously doubt they would want to push up the share price until all is settled. | 1399peter
22/2/2018 17:48 | Are we going to see a continuation of these doldrums until Tethys have got some sort of legal ruling to cancel the Olisol shares to offset what they owe in damages as I really can't see Olisol paying anything willingly or even if they are ordered to | 1399peter
22/2/2018 15:18 | TI, I think Bill Wells is aware of our views on the rather unreasonable decision by the Review Committee. If the Review Committee had done their homework, they should have realised that the " going concern " rule during the Robson/Olisol era was a sham !. Here we have a situation where the new team at Tethys, who have turned this ship around during the last 15 months, are now being penalised for the sins committed by a previous unscrupulous group incl Olisol who lived on " hype and largesse" using investors funds. I understand that the Review Committee are basing their rationale on the fact Tethys has a continuing short term debt burden of $30m. What has not sunk in is the fact that Olisol failed to meet its obligations under the IA and now that same Olisol has been found out as being unreliable and deceptive by the Supreme Court. The Review Committee seem to have assumed the role of External Auditor by deciding that Tethys is not fit to be on the main board of the TSX. I find this surprising especially because the Canadian Courts and now the KZ Supreme Court have dismissed the spurious Olisol claims. IMO, I consider Tethys to be a financially safer bet now compared to the "Robson era" of hype and mismanagement. | hguess16
22/2/2018 13:33 | hguess16, have you got in touch with Bil Wells about this, just to help them out? | temporarily insane
22/2/2018 12:46 | attributed to Olisol and its has been proved beyond all doubt both by the Canadian and KZ courts. I think TSX are relying on too much on bureaucracy and rules rather than the cause of the events that has inflictrd serious financial harm by an unprofessional tin pot private set of individuals at Olisol who tried to steal Tethys from its legitimate shareholders. I hope Tethys lawyers in Canada request an urgent review to reconsider the delisting decision. | hguess16
22/2/2018 12:37 | My personal view is that the review committee at TSX have been rather hasty about their delisting decision. They should reconsider following the decision of the KZ Supreme Court to dismiss all the claims by Olisol against Tethys/TAG. The financial damage caused to Tethys is solely att | hguess16
22/2/2018 12:19 | chestnuts - gosh that was a quick reply! You sound pretty certain (based on anything?) and if that was to be the case it would be a really positive result. | fbrj
22/2/2018 12:15 | Some of my holdings were held with Barclays Stockbrokers. Since the new set up with (Barclays) Smart Investor it has been a complete shambles - not just with the Tethys holding. I was given a choice of transfer (to another broker) or transform into certificated. I set up and instructed on the former option and after weeks of nothing happening I enquired only to be told the [written] choices were an error and only certificated was possible. That is supposed to be happening....but as usual, deafening silence! Even assuming I eventually end up with certificated shares I still have to grapple with what to do next with them. I have other Tethys holdings with HL - who have said already they wont take them in certificated form, I cannot buy but at least I can sell (the ones I hold with them already). Any others in a similar situation but more advanced in the process? | fbrj
22/2/2018 12:02 | fbrj It should be now able to retain its original TSX listing | chestnuts
22/2/2018 08:14 | Lack of confidence and more sellers than buyers at the 2-3 cents range. New investors coming at 2.4 cents results in further dilution. Now that Olisol has been silenced, Tethys needs cash to increase production. But no further dilution as this depresses the share price The uncertainty about the listing venue is also a downer !. | hguess16
21/2/2018 23:03 | I just think they have been dormant for so long now it's going to take some serious defibrillation to get this going. We need some deals and some drilling news at Klymene and export licence. I reckon that might do it | 1399peter |
