23/12/2019 07:34 | Communist Police state China, you even look at the someone ranked high enough the wrong way, you will be locked up with out trial. Then in their clutches they can do what they want with You. Slave worker/murder you and harvest you for body parts. The West needs the stand up to China, the only one with guts to do it is Trump, all the other leaders just want the status quo, cheap Chinese goods etc, while looking the other way on their human rights practices. Just like we do with Saudi Arabia criminals we LOVE their money, they can do what they want.. 22/12/2019 19:24 | Lidl and aldi had 6% market share in 2014. This was having a market impact. Despite the general good year in food retail sub sector, Lidl and aldi are now at around 15% market share. And with massive expansion plans. Then the likes of B&M and homebargains, are hitting the sales more in the electronic and household sales of the big 4. Never mind amazon etc Basically they underestimated the discounters. And totally underestimated the consumer shift. Now there have been a few mergers etc, but really this isn't going to increase market share or profit. It's a method to try and introduce scale for bulk volume buying, to try compete with discounters. Re large investments but reduced margins Then after Brexit. .they will ha e to push for more homegrown foods. That's more expensive so it's another issue. A lot of stuff swinging against them for 2020 and that's just the tip | sentimentrules

22/12/2019 19:08 | Back in November....this is certainly a positive as the public respond wholeheartedly to this environmentally-frie 'Tesco To Remove Billion Pieces Of Plastic From Products By End Of 2020 PLC is to remove one billion pieces of plastic from products by the end of 2020 as it seeks to reduce its environmental impact, the UK's biggest...' | hazl

22/12/2019 18:34 | Sadly vaneric I have read lots of stories about the plight of some groups who are being indoctrinated into their way of thinking. So, yes, it's on the front of the Times and supported by one of our journalists who was imprisoned out there for a while. People in different countries have different cultures and I think we have to accept that. However some of the practices you hear about are downright inhuman; as in forced organ gathering. Returning to Tesco, though and trusting they didn't know what they were supporting, they have at least addressed the issue and stopped the practice as in their announcement. As far as effect on the share price is concerned I expect it to be short-lived . We will see. | hazl

22/12/2019 15:42 | True right? I can hardly remember a stock falling, where an investor actually blamed fundamentals | sentimentrules
22/12/2019 15:39 | why do investors call downside, sentiment, and upside, fundamentals? Is it because they cant understand falls? | sentimentrules
22/12/2019 15:37 | I think the fundamentals will outweigh in the long term and the sentiment will be a short term blip.
