23/1/2020 14:30 | We're going to break channel and then sharply up very very soon. A finish at anything more than 9.5p should suffice. DA is no longer going to the Moon...it's already on the Moon singing and dancing!! | likya123

23/1/2020 14:21 | How to make the IoT work for you The IoT is a hot topic, and it's high on the agenda for many businesses and organisations. But working out a strategy can be challenging. To help our customers find out about the benefits of IoT technologies, we hosted an event at the Science Museum in London for 50 of our corporate and public sector customers. The theme was 'the Internet of Things 'how to turn big ideas into business advantage’. We wanted to show that we have the expertise, skills and knowledge ' through our network, partners, tools and people ' to help customers on their digital transformation journey. Keynote speaker, Ben Hammersley, writer and futurologist, gave a speech about the pace of disruption, how the IoT is forcing us to change the way we work, and the opportunity this gives us to find better ways of working. Customers also heard from other members of our expert panel, like Colm O’Neill, Managing Director, Major Business & Public Sector; Tom Baker, CIO Major Corporate; and Guillaume Sampic, IoT Strategy Director - all from BT - plus Jon Webb-Peploe, Portfolio and Service Creation Manager, Cisco. During the Q&A session, we invited customers to ask the panel questions and exchange ideas. We wrapped up the event with a reception where customers had the chance to meet and talk to our experts. You can watch the highlights below. ==================== ouch....no KS.....must be very bright where you are, and pink ofcourse. | duxy786
23/1/2020 14:21 | Hey troll, if Thales was ALL SO powerful after its Vormetric acquisition in 2016 and didn't need any external help after that, ..... how do you explain the following? WHY USE THALES nSHIELD HSMs WITH DEVICE AUTHORITY KEYSCALER PLATFORM? Encryption keys handled outside the cryptographic boundary of an HSM are significantly more vulnerable to attack, which can lead to compromise of critical keys. HSMs are the only proven and auditable way to secure valuable cryptographic material. nShield Connect secures the generation and storage of the private keys used by the KeyScaler platform within a FIPS 140-2 Level 3 and Common Criteria EAL4+ certified protected environment. Doing so provides the highest level of security and assurance against key compromise and theft. andrbea 6 Jan '20 - 10:57 - 181045 of 181045 Edit 0 0 0 Came across a pdf from Thales, dated Nov 2019 KS looks very integral to Gemalto's Safenet and Thales' solutions... Some extracts: To help manage the security and complexity of the device identity, data security and compliance requirements, Device Authority and Thales have integrated KeyScaler’s automated PKI for IoT technology with Thales' cloud-based or on-premises hardware security module (HSM) key protection technology. This integration allows Enterprises who have an existing investment in HSMs and Data Security Platforms to leverage them for automated PKI certificate provisioning, high-assurance device authentication and managed end-to-end encryption at IoT scale. IoT Security with automated PKI Device Authority and Thales deliver a seamless integration that expands an organization’s ability to secure PKI keys with the power of SafeNet HSMs to perform cryptographic operations in the most secure environment, no matter where they are deployed or used. Now your organization can automate the full key and certificate lifecycles with SafeNet Luna HSMs; from key generation to certificate provisioning and policy-based lifecycle management. KeyScaler interfaces to Thales’ HSMs for all its key protection needs. All operations are performed according to the centralized policy for key and certificate generation, use and renewal. SafeNet HSM also helps to protect KeyScaler platform keys and data. Clicking the link won't open a web page Instead, find the pdf under 'downloads' on your computer ( Wndows explorer) | andrbea

23/1/2020 14:16 | 'Vormetric in action' was a statement (you were just too thick to understand it).....the underlying FACT is that Thales has BOUGHT a IoT platform and integrated it in to their suite of offerings.....THERE IS NO NEED FOR KS. | duxy786
23/1/2020 14:16 | This could be better than any of us dare imagine. Great finds coming out weekly, if not daily now. | oldishrocker
23/1/2020 14:11 | Now all we need is for TERN to say DA are self funding and we will be 🚀 away! | dave444

23/1/2020 13:46 | You have to look a year into the future too The BT case study video ended with : BT: We are delighted to announce the World's FIRST deployment of a fully-automated IoT onboarding solution... 'to make it as secure and as automated as possible for our customers ' (0m06s on the timebar and at 9m00s) This solution can be applied in Smart Cities, Smart Health, ... 23/1/2020 13:46 | Plus Wipro, Venafi, HID, Intel to name but a few.I have resisted joining the rocket launch crew for a long time but my resistance is being challenged with all that seems to be going on now in full view of the part of the IT world that matters. | jerseymike
23/1/2020 13:44 | I think Tern need you on PR Mike! | mrpiggy
23/1/2020 13:38 | All it's going to take is for someone in the media to look at this and say 'Hold on. Let's see if I've got this right. Because if I have then this is huge. Ok, needs checking to the nth degree but it appears that Microsoft, Thales, nCipher and Sectigo (just for starters) need this little UK company called Device Aurhority and it's KeyScaler product. None of them get off the ground without it. If so then this is a mega story. So who owns Device Authority? Oh, what's this? Aim listed Tern....' | mike routhorn |
