Jugs, I had my tongue in my cheek. I've been trading Wimps shares for 10 yrs now. I hold significant core holding bought almost 10 yrs ago, and regularly trade the ups and downs via SB's. Volatility is the gift that keeps on giving.

Hmmm, a different perspective. As we know Coronavirus is only fatal for the elderly or anyone with underlying chronic conditions. So, if we accept that it may accelerate the death of some of the oldies, their inheritances will flow down more quickly to the underserving profligate children who want everything today, and they will spend, spend, spend ... A good deal of this cash will find its way into the housing market and further drive builders profits higher. You just have to look for the silver lining ...

And with the 3m dead on the streets people will certainly want a house to get away from all the bodies. What a plonker

you don't very often see share prices rise during the 1-2 lunch break or certainly none that I have ever held, always been a good time to buy IMHO.

Martyn, estimated 3.4% death rate from Corona. UK population about 70m plus about 20m illegals and unregistered. Voila, and thank you. I did not take into account possible civil strife which could increase my estimates.

jugears, I've decided to change my game plan, atm my ave is down near 200p so I'm building for the dividends, any capital gain would be a bonus.

Main concentration is keeping healthy, too old to take chances in that arena :)
