These people should be suing their 'solicitor' (parasite) instead. WTF are they being paid for?

You really could not make this up.

"At the time, several solicitors told the SRA that they saw no reason to explain the difference between freehold and leasehold to the buyer as they assumed the client would already know, or the estate agent would have already explained it."

Truly laughable. But any excuse will do.
Exonerated.

LOL Dave, The promises were Fifty odd years ago; Fair is something to with skin or hair colour nowt to do with relationships, I know this because she told me so ;)

Let's face it, Whether we go to hell in a dust cart or a diamond crust box, the destination is the same - Wish you a good weekend.

gbh2. I posted recently, I try to stay zero/low risk for my sister who Santander 123 say int reduced to 1% from 15/5/20. Hard to know best thing to do when also need to offset inflation. Too late now, but hope that was a TF to stocks/cash ISA to protect cap gains. If not get in stocks ISA before new tax years starts. Just reminding in case. :-)

>Edit: That said I had to guarantee her investment!
That's unfair and unreasonable. You can quote me.
...and I reckon she is in breach of her promise to you...for richer for poorer..

When I told my missus of the Dividend percentage on TW she was quick to chuck in one of her ISAs that was making 1.3% end of March.

Edit: That said I had to guarantee her investment!

Let's face it if institutions/pi's want dividends they will have to buy or close positions at some point.

In the past day concerns have been raised about the NHS's ability to cope with the spread of the virus.

It emerged last night that overstretched hospitals here in the UK would be forced to treat only the patients most likely to survive should the virus take hold.

>So I'm going to sit it out and watch while the World goes to hell and back over media hyped panic.
>No cash left now :(

That's a sudden change of heart and wallet. ;-)

Might seem a long wait until Monday to see if more pain to come.
US indices down 3 to 3.75%, FTSE 4.37%, not sure if they are following us or vice versa, but hoping next week will be stable, usual Monday morning shuffle aside.

That's my hope for financial side, but no doubt more CV cases will be reported worldwide.

Your all playing last years game.

You traders of all investors have the brains to get out with something:

Most are going to leave with nothing.

The buyers will stop buying after they realise the biggest shortage in the world is body bags.

This virus is far, far worse than you have been told by China

The cruise ship has cost 5 lives out of 600 infections

10 times flu

OF THE 600 no end are very very sick

Plus that’s with the best care in the world

WAKE UP

The depression will see unemployment jump to near 28% around the globe.

The world has changed.

Mankind has no idea of what’s hitting them on a daily basis.

It’s here and now.

So what you’re saying then 1 DHSS is it’s a bit like the flu. Healthy people between 10 and 60 years old have less than 1% chance of a dose becoming fatal and the death toll so far is far less than Winter flu.
Every reason for a 15% correction and stockpiling of paracetamol.... not.
