I agree battue, I started accumulating too soon, current ave 193p and TW is now 60% of my total portfolio which is way above what I find comfortable.

However I'm also looking forward to a positive run up to end of may :)

gbh2 A very good opportunity to hoover up cheap shares. For the bigger boys prior to the rise to divi day. imho
Im fully in now after this fairly expected drop. Just wish I hadn't been so hasty with the first buy in 2 weeks ago.We have another month to ex div yet and I think you will get your 200 by then . But as you say back to 180 thereafter. A couple of years ago this peaked more than a week before its ex date as bigger holders took the better price I wonder if we will see the same again.imho

The update will be seen as ok by holders, I'll certainly not be reducing though as it's already my largest hold I'll not be adding.

However imo we holders are not the ones that determine the share price and those that do will see the update as a way to make even more cash on the down side as well as the up.

Amazing how backward looking cold weather can negatively affect the share price like this - particularly with the big dividend on the way and the company forecasting an unchanged cash position at year end - what an opportunity

Not the most encouraging Update I've read, guess it kills any chance of seeing 200p in the near or mid future!

As you say gbh2 it looks like he will continue to be well paid. I was wondering why he is leaving only 6 days before the AGM and whether some bad news or accounting issue might be on its way. Wouldn't it be normal to step down after the AGM? Just wondered what others thought.

A year on "Gardening" leave with full perks, so he's not exactly abandoning the Cash trough!

Is anyone worried about Ryan Mangold stepping down from Chief Finance Director role a few days before the AGM. It seems quite sudden but I may have missed some earlier communications. I have noticed that his name is on the Form Of Proxy currently available on the TW website showing him standing for re-election at the AGM on 26th April which suggests it was a sudden decision.

An excellent AGM on April 26 will set us up for a nice rise which I hope will lead nicely to the spec div. Its an idea but I like it.

Nice to see this today, even if it is tucked away at the end of a board changes announcement:-

The Company confirms that the business continues to trade in line with the Board's expectations and we look forward to updating shareholders further at our AGM on 26(th) April 2018.

For the past few years a special divi has been paid in July (ex div May ) just over 10p last year, and just over 9p the previous 3 years.
